Mud Pie Litter-Mud Pie is a 4 and 1/2 month old neutered male Maltipoo and Pug Mix who came to us as an owner surrender after an accidental litter. His brother and sister have already found homes, and now it’s his turn to shine. True to his name, Mud Pie is full of sweetness and a little bit of spunk. He loves playtime, especially when squeaky toys are involved, and his happy personality makes him a joy to be around. He even has the cutest little underbite that makes him extra charming. Mud Pie gets along well with kids, dogs, and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to just about any family. This little guy is ready to bring plenty of love, laughter, and playful energy into his forever home. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. This charming guy came to us as a stray from Hermosa Beach, and he’s ready to trade street life for snuggles, walks, and all the love he can give. Archie HB has a mellow, easygoing vibe but still loves a little adventure, whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or exploring new cozy spots in your home. Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, he’s the kind of companion who turns ordinary days into something special. Hi, I’m Snowball—a gentle old soul with a young heart. I may be 15, but don’t let that number fool you. I still have plenty of pep in my step, and I love my daily walks. I’m calm, affectionate, and I’ll even let you know when I need to go out—no guesswork required I came from a broken home through no fault of my own, but I’ve never lost my sweet nature or my trust in people. The kind folks at Forte gave me a second chance, and now I’m hoping someone special will give me a forever home to spend my golden years. Come meet me at the next adoption event. Story
Daisy is a lovely almost two year old Maltipoo who was dumped at a Los Angeles city animal shelter by her owner with horribly matted and damaged fur and encrusted eyes, fearful and scared and snapping to defend herself and barking to appear strong. She is also very underweight underneath all that matted fur. We can only imagine what she must have been through. Currently Daisy is being assessed and treated by the vet and will be examined, get a fecal, urinalysis, blood test, be clipped and groomed and cleaned and her eyes medicated until they heal. She will also be handled and rehabilitated so she won't be afraid anymore and try to bite to defend herself. New photos coming soon.
