I acquired Rambo from a family friend that was no longer able to house him after the fires. I’m unsure his age but he’s a great dog and overall very loving. He loves to play and is always happy. He needs to have constant access to an area where he can go pee and poop as he goes frequently. I would love to keep him but due to my busy schedule it’s not possible. Rambo is very quiet and barely barks unless he senses someone approaching the house door that he doesn’t recognize. Willing to send more pictures if needed and set up a time to meet.

Meet Elfee, a sweet 13 lb, 8-year-old Maltipoo who is ready for a fresh start. Sadly, Elfee spent three days in a lady’s backyard after being attacked on the streets of Watts. He had no collar or tag. A good Samaritan took him in and searched for his owner, but no one came forward. Shelter Hope heard his story and, after his stray hold was complete, welcomed him into our care to help him find the loving home he truly deserves. Despite everything he’s been through, Elfee is a super sweet, easygoing gentle guy who lights up whenever he gets attention. He’s very dirty from his ordeal and has some puncture wounds on his back, likely from a coyote or another dog. At his recent vet check, they discovered he has a grade 6 heart murmur, but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying cuddles, gentle play, and affection. Milo was recently surrendered. We were told that the landlord said he had to go because they were not picking up his poop in the yard. We never really know what’s true. He is extremely loyal and affectionate ONCE he is given a bit of time to acclimate. He NEEDS people to take it slow. This is why we are saying “no kids” - they might not read his body language and push affection on him too quickly. He’s house and crate trained. No issues with sharing toys & food with other dogs. Not interested in cats so could happily coexist.

Harvey is a curious and adventurous pup who loves to explore his surroundings. He’s also incredibly affectionate and enjoys snuggling up for a nap after a fun play session. He can sometimes be protective in new situations but is gaining more and more confidence as he grows up. Harvey is a quick learner. He’s eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement. He gets along well with other dogs and has not been tested with cats but we think he would be fine. Harvey would prefer a home with another playful dog and with someone who is home a lot to help him grow into the best adult dog that he can be. We do suggest that he only go to a home with kids over the age of 8 as he does not do well in a very busy or loud environment.
