🐾 Loving Home Needed for Coco 🐾 We are looking for a special, loving home for Coco, a sweet girl born in August 2019. She is an affectionate, playful, and gentle dog who truly loves being around people and gets along well with other dogs. Coco is fully house-trained and has a wonderful, loving personality. She enjoys playtime but also loves to relax and be close to her humans. Coco does have Addison’s disease, which means she requires a monthly injection to stay healthy. She has been doing well with her care, and we are happy to share more details with anyone who is seriously interested in giving her a good home. This is a very difficult decision for her current caretakers, but due to age-related limitations, they are no longer able to provide the level of care Coco needs and deserves. We are looking for a responsible and compassionate home that understands her medical needs and will give her the love and stability she deserves. 💛 If you or someone you know might be a good fit

Story
Recently, one of our volunteers returned a call from a distressed individual who spoke only Vietnamese and needed to surrender a dog. With the help of another volunteer translating, it quickly became clear the situation was urgent. The small Maltipoo, now named Matty, was brought to AALOC and immediately rushed to the veterinarian for care. Terrified and severely neglected, poor Matty appeared to have gone his entire life without proper grooming. His fur had become so painfully matted and compacted that he had to be sedated while a veterinary groomer carefully shaved away the thick layers of tangled fur covering his tiny body. Beneath the painful matting was a frightened little dog who had clearly endured long-term neglect. But despite everything he had been through, Matty’s gentle and loving spirit quickly began to shine through. Once safe at AALOC, Matty slowly learned that kind hands could be trusted. Today, this sweet little survivor happily enjoys walks with our volunteers and greets every person he meets with tail wags, kisses, and endless affection. His bright eyes and joyful smile are a beautiful reminder of how resilient animals can be when finally shown love and compassion. Matty is now healthy, safe, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a forever family who will cherish him the way he always deserved. This is Zero, I used to do a lot of Rescuing and rehoming of pets over the past years. He was one of the first pups. Got him from Seacca, daughter couldn’t leave him there. He is an amazing,loving ,smart,totally trained dog. Since then that daughter finished school and is working with a child so he’s been here with me. Next child does travel ball and getting ready for college so I’m working 2 jobs paying for her bills and he’s here alone a lot. He deserves a loving home. With someone who’s around him. He loves cats , dogs, dog parks, kids, eats soft food, we first took him we had $900 worth of dental work he had an injured jaw and teeth were a mess. Completely trained. Doesn’t leave your side while walking. Doesn’t bark. Knows sit, stay. Sleeps and loves his crate. All neighbors love him. Quiet and loving. Loves car trips. Doesn’t shed poodle mix. Guessing maltipoo. Inside dog only. He’s around 11 yrs old. All shots and fixed. Chipped. Kept groomed. House trained goes outside only.

Pudding is a sweet little girl who was found with a broken leg on the streets of Los Angeles believed to be once seen cared for by a homeless individual. She was all alone when she was found and clearly in pain from being hit by a car. Unfortunately, Pudding also lost one of her eyes while living on the street. Pudding was over the moon to wake up from her leg surgery to find she was finally in a real home. Her fosters describe her and super sweet and affectionate. She loves to roll around in the grass and be next to her human. Pudding currently lives with another dog but she would much rather be the queen of the household with no other dogs. She's so happy to be off the streets and to have humans who care for her and she gets very upset to see other dogs in the home receive affection and can lash out.
