Story
COURTESY POST Hannah’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. She found herself scared and just days away from giving birth at one of California’s toughest high-kill shelters, where she and her 10 puppies were placed on the euthanasia list. But Real Good Rescue and two amazing rescue partners came together to save this brave mama. Despite losing seven of her puppies during this tough transition, Hannah’s spirit never wavered. She proved to be the most loving and dedicated mother, nurturing her babies with unwavering attention, care and play. Thanks to her, all three surviving puppies were quickly adopted into loving homes. And like most mama dogs, Hannah was overlooked. Now, it’s Hannah’s turn to find the forever home she so deeply deserves. At 75lbs and approximately 4 years old, Hannah is the perfect mix of active and chill. She’s a social butterfly who’s lived harmoniously with small dogs and even a 5-year-old child. However, her dream home would be calm, peaceful, and all about her—no other pets, just allowing Hannah to soak up all the love. Outdoors, she enjoys staying active and exploring, but indoors she’s the ultimate couch potato, ready for cuddles and naps. If you or someone you know is ready to give this incredible girl the life and love she’s been waiting for, email adopt@realgood.dog

Story
How this pet arrived: Spartan was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on March 16, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Spartan, the mighty toy warrior with a personality as big as his blocky head! This fun-loving goofball is ready to march into your life and conquer your heart with his charm and playful spirit. Whether he's tossing toys around like a true gladiator or entertaining himself with a solo play session, Spartan knows how to keep life exciting. He's a strong boy (true to his name!) who could use a refresher on leash manners - sometimes he forgets his size. With a little positive reinforcement, Spartan will be more than ready to earn his place in your hall of fame. He does get a bit overzealous when it comes to barriers and needs some help working through that, but he's eager to learn and grow into the best version of himself. Spartan does have some skin issues that may be allergy-related, so his future family should be ready to support him with a little TLC. Due to his size and exuberance, he's best suited for a home with kids over 10. If you're looking for a loyal companion with legendary levels of love, Spartan is ready to be your heroic sidekick! Come in and ask about meeting him today! At SDHS:Spartan has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. Spartan is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 71 Age: 3yrs 4mths 4wks
