This sweet senior boy was found wandering in Northern California, and despite his big size, he’s truly just a gentle giant. He’s a white mastiff mix who wants nothing more than to be near his people. At his age, he’s not too active — a bit of arthritis has slowed him down — but he still enjoys short sniff walks and quiet time in the sun.   He’s fully potty trained, knows a few simple commands, and has the best manners. He gets along great with smaller dogs and does fine with bigger ones too, as long as introductions are done slowly. What he really needs is someone who’s home most of the time and ready to give him the companionship he’s been missing.   He’s not looking for adventure anymore — just love, warmth, and a cozy spot to rest his head. Moose has had lots of training under his belt and is fully crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is great with other dogs.Moose is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home. While he’s made great progress, Moose is still a bit timid and sensitive, so he’s looking for a calmer household where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. Dudley is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old male weighing around 65 lbs. Partially blind and deaf, he doesn’t let that slow him down. He walks nicely on leash and just needs gentle guidance to avoid obstacles — if he loses track, he’ll give your leg a soft “bonk” to reorient himself.Dudley enjoys short walks, stuffed toys, and being outside. After a 20-minute stroll, he’s ready to chill for the rest of the day. He lets you know when he needs to potty and loves foraging for treats as enrichment.He’s social with other dogs (especially if they make physical contact), and he’s currently thriving in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and kids. The Coast Guard found me at the park, I'd say it was a daring rescue at sea but in actuality I was just lounging on the grass. I'm Edam, a 5-year old boy who's seemingly had a rough past. See I was found with a serious leg injury, a collar so tight I have indents in my neck and my jaw is a little crooked but despite all this I'm happy-go-lucky, very loving, optimistic and thrilled to be here. The shelter is like the Four Seasons compared to where I've been! I enjoy going on walks, chewing on bones, playing in the yard, munching on snacks and getting attention from my humans. I was named Edam because it's a popular cheese that everyone likes, just like me! Ok, I'm ready to close the book on the first chapter of my life and start a new one - will you please be in my story? MY FOSTER HOME SAYS THIS ABOUT ME: Edam is a good boy who just want to be loved, he's very affectionate, eager to please and loves to give sweet kisses. His favorite things are stuffed Kongs, cuddling on the bed, eating cheese and hot dogs, and jumping in anyone's open truck tailgate! He is housebroken, he gets along with our dog, he knows sit, crate and wait and he's a mellow guy. To get pets he likes to sit in the back seat of the car with his front paws on the ground and his big head on the center console.
