Moose has had lots of training under his belt and is fully crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is great with other dogs.Moose is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home. While he’s made great progress, Moose is still a bit timid and sensitive, so he’s looking for a calmer household where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. Because of his gentle, shy nature, he’d do best in a home with older kids who understand how to give him space when he needs it.Moose would love a family who can provide a quiet, structured environment where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the pack. The Coast Guard found me at the park, I'd say it was a daring rescue at sea but in actuality I was just lounging on the grass. I'm Edam, a 5-year old boy who's seemingly had a rough past. See I was found with a serious leg injury, a collar so tight I have indents in my neck and my jaw is a little crooked but despite all this I'm happy-go-lucky, very loving, optimistic and thrilled to be here. The shelter is like the Four Seasons compared to where I've been! I enjoy going on walks, chewing on bones, playing in the yard, munching on snacks and getting attention from my humans. I was named Edam because it's a popular cheese that everyone likes, just like me! Ok, I'm ready to close the book on the first chapter of my life and start a new one - will you please be in my story? MY FOSTER HOME SAYS THIS ABOUT ME: Edam is a good boy who just want to be loved, he's very affectionate, eager to please and loves to give sweet kisses. His favorite things are stuffed Kongs, cuddling on the bed, eating cheese and hot dogs, and jumping in anyone's open truck tailgate! He is housebroken, he gets along with our dog, he knows sit, crate and wait and he's a mellow guy. To get pets he likes to sit in the back seat of the car with his front paws on the ground and his big head on the center console.

Buddy was a stray with a broken leg and malnourished. We took him in and took him to the vet to take care of his broken leg. He's very friendly with people, but is very defensive around other pets. He's very sweet and gentle with people.
