Croissant is cautious with new people and needs slow, respectful introductions. He'd adjust fastest with a single dedicated adopter, though with time, he can learn to love multiple adults. An experienced, adult-only home where his boundaries are understood is best. He spent over a month at Keep Them Wagging Training Facility in Norwalk, CT, where he learned valuable skills. Continued work with them will help facilitate a strong bond between Croissant and his new family. Croissant loves playful dogs, tasty snacks, and long naps on the couch. He is very affectionate and thinks he's a 5 lb lap dog, LOL! He enjoys going for walks and is always excited to go for a ride in the car. He enjoys long walks, hiking, camping, swimming, tug and fetch. Twix is very sweet, loves physical and verbal affection. He can match your energy to be very active or can be a couch potato. Twix has had multiple professional training experiences, all successful. He is a very quick and motivated learner. He is thoroughly house-trained as well as crate-trained. He loves his crate! He will crate himself to take naps throughout the day and also will tuck himself to bed when the sun goes down and sleeps through the night. Twix will do best with experienced, active dog owner(s) who are able to be consistent with good daily habits to strengthen his foundational training. He walks very well on leash and knows how to heel. Twix prefers to be the only pet in the house. Small children are not recommended due to size and energy level. Spring is here- a time for new beginnings. Stella is hoping and praying for a new family to love. Stella is a beautiful and regal Mastiff & Pittie mix who has a beautiful brindle coat and is 3 years old and fully grown at 75 pounds. She lost her home when her owner had to move and couldn't take her so she's now living with a great Foster Mom in Suffolk County. She has been practicing her obedience commands and retrieving skills with a Trainer and is doing great! She LOVES to retrieve and her foster mom was surprised to find out she also loves to take a bath. She's easy to live with because she she has a low to medium energy level. Like most Mastiffs, Stella has a low-medium energy level. All she needs is someone to throw her ball for her for 15 minutes once or twice a day, the rest of the time she'll bask in the sun outside, or lay beside you and watch tv. She's very well-mannered and highly intelligent and fully housebroken. Stella is calm, polite and gentle AND her size and imposing appearance will make you feel very safe. Stella's ideal home would have a fenced yard so she can play and lounge in the sun to her heart's desire. She'd be happy as an only dog or with a large mellow male dog.
