Unfortunately, due to a move, they are heartbroken to be unable to take him with them and are hoping to find him the perfect new forever home. Patton is calm, gentle, and well-mannered—the kind of dog who brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes. He does great living with other dogs, cats, and children, making him an excellent fit for many types of homes. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, on monthly preventions, and in excellent health. Patton has everything he needs… except a family to call his own. He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate.He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way.
