Story
I acquired Coco from a former coworker when she was about 12 weeks old. A miniature mastiff and german shepherd dog bred and she was in their litter of puppies. She is very sweet and cuddly, also has a protective and curious personality to her. She is goofy, sweet, listens well, and is trained to go to the door and whines when she needs to go out. She’s leash trained although does tend to pull and is very strong. She loves meeting new people and new dogs. She’s never been around cats or children so how she does in those situations is unknown. I have administered her shots at home with OTC 5-in-1 formulas from pet/farm supply stores so she doesn’t have an official vet record, but her shots are up to date for one more year. She is not fixed, and she does shed but it is manageable.

Story
Keisha is a beautiful, quiet girl with a gentle heart and a deep love for the people she trusts. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll have a loyal and loving friend for life. She thrives in calm environments with patient humans who respect her space and let her blossom at her own pace. Keisha is very smart and has already been working on cues like “wait” (used at doors and before meals), “easy” (for calmly exiting her crate or approaching people), and “crate time” (she’ll head right in and wait for her treat!). Keisha will need consistent and ongoing training and enrichment to help her thrive in her new home. She is food-motivated, but eats fast—so a slow feeder would be a great help. Like many dogs, she prefers to eat in peace and may show some resource guarding around food, so feeding her separately is best. While she’s lived with smaller dogs in the past, Keisha might be happiest as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention. She has done well with respectful children ages 8 and up, especially when they move slowly and give her time to feel safe. If you have other dogs or children at home a meet and greet is required to make sure they are compatible. Keisha loves snuggles, quiet time with her person, and yes—scrambled eggs are her favorite treat! Walks are great too, but if things get too loud or overwhelming, she might gently guide you back toward home—her safe space. If you would like to meet Keisha, Please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all our other adoptable pets.

Story
Looking for love and a great home. Garnet is a super sweet big lug of a mastiff.  Garnets house burnt down December 27, 2022 and he was so badly burned no one was sure if we could save him.  We felt really bad for him and his owner, so we cared for Garnet while getting him well. It took 6 months of horrible pain stacking medical Care. He is great now but he will be scared for life but looks great.  His owner rebuilt and wanted him back.  Now she has decided it would be better for him for us to find him a loving home.  He is truely a very special guy.   Garnets date of birth September 17, 2020. Garnet is fawn with a black mask.  He is up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, micro chipped with Home Again  he is well enough to be neutered and that happens on 11-28-23. We do not have any pictures of his after he was healed as good as he gets. We lost all  the pictures but we have pictures of his long six months of Recovery.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue and we will send you our adoption questionnaire: miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. Story
Meet Angel, she is a 4 year old mastiff and she is looking for love. Angel is spayed, up to date in vaccine, on heartworm prevention and Micro chipped with Home Again. After fire destroyed Angel's and Garnet's home on 12-27-22, Angel ran into the woods and was lost for 7 days. Their own had just lost everything and ask if we could save and care for them until she was able to have a place for them. On 12-29-22 I got Garnet to foster in my home. On 1-5-23 Debbie and Dan were kind enough to foster Angel in their home. After 6 months Garnet was finally well enough and their owner now had a place for them and took them back home. Soon after their owner decided to give us Garnet to us find him a great home and now she is giving us Angel to find her a great home. After the fire while scared and lost poor Angel clearly did not find food or water, she was so weak she could barely raise her head. As soon as we got Angel we took her right to our vets office., where Angel got a good exam and CBC/chem. Fortunately, her blood work was all good. She needs to be fed several smaller meals each day, to let her body adjust and get the pounds back on. She was covered in ticks and was treated for that too. Angel missed her monthly heartworm prevention on the first of the month, but it was close enough that she got it today. One of her eyes was treated for a minor injury. A few days after we got her she got sick and tested positive for lyme disease. Angel was treated for the lyne disease and did great. We can't believe she was not burnt like poor Garnet but thank to Garnet for putting her behind him and protecting her. Of corse Angel is fine now. The pictures are old pictures of Angel the day we got her, when we were in the garage at our vets office picking ticks off of her. 2 pictures from Angel's mother. Will will get new pictures of Angel as soon as she is here. We are 100% all volunteer, 501(c)3 charity. We are a foster based Rescue and we work by appointment only after you are approved. Located just east of Cincinnati in Clermont, Brown and Adam Counties. miraclehouserescue@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Zay. She’s a 2 year old mastiff mix with the squishiest face ever (she’s also the aster of RBF). Zay came to us completely shut down, defeated, in a constant state of fear. After lots of confidence training, she has come out of her shell and absolutely loves to play with dogs, totally ignores cats and even enjoys taking treats and pets from humans. Zay is potty trained, crate trained and has been through several weeks of obedience training in addition to confidence building. She’ll come with training for her new family and the tools that have helped her “dog”. Zay REQUIRES at least one other dog living in home with her; we are not making exceptions as the trainer has advised us this is a necessity for her.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 27, 2025, 7:28 pm
