Ralph the Derp! Ralph is a huge friendly, enthusiastic, uncoordinated 4-legged energetic goofball! He was rescued from “death row” at a high kill shelter, as a skinny stray with a treatable skin condition. His fur has almost completely grown in & he is now at a healthy weight. This overgrown mastiff/Cane Corso mix pup has no comprehension of his size, leaning into humans for affection or trying to ooze onto laps for cuddles. He is being trained not to jump and not to paw for attention/affection/play because he currently has 85# of mass behind those “congenial” moves. Ralph plays well with dogs of all sizes, but would do best with med-to-larger dogs due to his size & poorly curbed gusto. He hordes toys, taking them all to his chosen dog bed of the day. He likes to carry a special toy “baby” in his mouth when going out in the yard. He does need to be fed in his crate & will guard his empty food bowl from other dogs, unless he is distracted with a toy & led outdoors after meals. He is great on a leash, makes awesome grunty sounds when cuddled, enjoys baths. Ralph will make a great addition to an active family with older children. He is eager to please, food and affection oriented (although a bit stubborn at times), making him an ideal candidate for success with continuation of his training. Please consider adopting the gorgeous big derp into your home. Attributes: In training to avoid jumping/pawing Active family He is neutered, microchipped, had recent cherry eye repair and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Meet Our Sweet Brindle Girl, Dexi! This adorable 8-month-old brindle mastiff mix puppy with the cutest floppy ears is pure love wrapped in fur! She has the sweetest personality and is happiest when she’s surrounded by people or playing with other dogs. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other pups, making her a perfect addition to a home with furry siblings. When she’s not making new friends, you’ll find her happily playing with her toys, enjoying a good meal, or snuggling with her foster family. She’s currently living with her two dog foster siblings, and she loves them so much! They’ve helped show her how fun life can be, and she’s ready to bring that same joy to her very own forever family. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. Looking for love and a great home. Garnet is a super sweet big lug of a mastiff. Garnets house burnt down December 27, 2022 and he was so badly burned no one was sure if we could save him. We felt really bad for him and his owner, so we cared for Garnet while getting him well. It took 6 months of horrible pain stacking medical Care. He is great now but he will be scared for life but looks great. His owner rebuilt and wanted him back. Now she has decided it would be better for him for us to find him a loving home. He is truely a very special guy. Garnets date of birth September 17, 2020. Garnet is fawn with a black mask. He is up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, micro chipped with Home Again he is well enough to be neutered and that happens on 11-28-23. We do not have any pictures of his after he was healed as good as he gets. We lost all the pictures but we have pictures of his long six months of Recovery.
