Ralph the Derp! Ralph is a huge friendly, enthusiastic, uncoordinated 4-legged energetic goofball! He was rescued from “death row” at a high kill shelter, as a skinny stray with a treatable skin condition. His fur has almost completely grown in & he is now at a healthy weight. This overgrown mastiff/Cane Corso mix pup has no comprehension of his size, leaning into humans for affection or trying to ooze onto laps for cuddles. He is being trained not to jump and not to paw for attention/affection/play because he currently has 85# of mass behind those “congenial” moves. Ralph plays well with dogs of all sizes, but would do best with med-to-larger dogs due to his size & poorly curbed gusto. He hordes toys, taking them all to his chosen dog bed of the day. He likes to carry a special toy “baby” in his mouth when going out in the yard. He does need to be fed in his crate & will guard his empty food bowl from other dogs, unless he is distracted with a toy & led outdoors after meals. He is great on a leash, makes awesome grunty sounds when cuddled, enjoys baths. Ralph will make a great addition to an active family with older children. He is eager to please, food and affection oriented (although a bit stubborn at times), making him an ideal candidate for success with continuation of his training. Please consider adopting the gorgeous big derp into your home. Attributes: In training to avoid jumping/pawing Active family He is neutered, microchipped, had recent cherry eye repair and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Meet Our Sweet Brindle Girl, Dexi! This adorable 9-month-old brindle mastiff mix puppy with the cutest floppy ears is pure love wrapped in fur! She has the sweetest personality and is happiest when she’s surrounded by people or playing with other dogs. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other pups, making her a perfect addition to a home with furry siblings. When she’s not making new friends, you’ll find her happily playing with her toys, enjoying a good meal, or snuggling with her foster family. She’s currently living with her two dog foster siblings, and she loves them so much! They’ve helped show her how fun life can be, and she’s ready to bring that same joy to her very own forever family. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. Remi is 1 year 3 months old, 130 pounds. She has been to puppy training, house trained, and crate trained. She can sit, lay, stay, come when called, heel, and leash trained, Unfortunately Remi has started resource guarding with our other dogs. We have spoke with our Vet and this is common with this age and breed of dog. With additional training she should be able to work through this behavoir. Out of growing concern for our other 2 small dogs we believe it would be best if she was in a only dog home. She has been fine around dogs outside of our home (big or small), she often lays down to greet them. She has never been around small kids but has always been very friendly to anyone she meets. She has a very sweet and funny personality. Couch potato most of the time. She is still young so spurts of puppy energy is to be expected. Best if you have time and room for a XL breed. Continued training would be recommended as she is not done growing. She is up to date on all shots.
