Story
Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. Let’s make forever happen! 🐾 Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Finn may look like a rockstar with his striking Mastiff–Shepherd good looks, but at heart, he’s a big, soft lovebug. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, Finn has grown into a handsome boy with a beautiful gray and tan coat, soulful eyes, and an even bigger personality. Despite his star-quality appearance, Finn is more of a laid-back, easygoing guy—think Eeyore vibes, but with engines revved and ready to love. From the moment he wakes up, he’s prepared to shower his people with affection… and trust us, it’s A LOT of love! Finn does well with other dogs and does need a slow, proper introductions to new friends—both two-legged and four-legged. Once he knows you, he loves you deeply. He’s happiest when he has a buddy (human or canine) to share his world with. Affection is Finn’s specialty. When someone comes to greet him, he lights up, runs over with enthusiasm, and hands out slobbery kisses and big hugs like they’re backstage passes. His joy is genuine, his heart is huge, and he’s always thrilled to see his people. If you’re looking for a big, lovable, slightly goofy rockstar who will adore you endlessly, Finn is ready to take center stage in your heart. Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Daisy is a middle-aged gal (approximately 5 years of age) who loves a perfect balance of attention and relaxation. She is working on her optimal body as she still has a few pounds to gain (unlike most of us who already gave up on getting a Summer ready body!). She has the most sweet disposition as she is a lover of both humans and other dogs. She is curious about cats and has been observed to run toward them when in open space, sniff them when they are resting and sometimes walking by as if they do not exist at all. She is leash comfortable (she is 86lbs) and is manageable but would benefit from ongoing training to walk on commands. She is shy at first but warms up pretty quickly. She loves soft spaces but is respectful of her human’s spaces. She is completely house and crate trained and is a very quiet companion. This beautiful soul would make the absolute perfect addition to a loving, caring family that wants unconditional love in return!   February 10, 2026, 1:46 pm

Story
⭐️Bingo’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor ⭐️ ** FOSTER UPDATE ** Check out this wonderful update from Bingo’s foster family: “Bingo is the sweetest boy around. He loves a good walk followed by some serious cuddles. He is house trained and listens very well. Bingo is a quick learner and food motivated. He currently knows sit, down, paw, and stay. He loves enrichment activities like treat puzzles and lick mats and any toy that squeaks. He thrives when he’s given the proper attention and exercise with walks, playtime, and enrichment activities. He’s not so sure of other dogs but loves people and is very respectful when meeting them for the first time. He’s learned leave it and is getting better at ignoring other dogs on walks. Bingo would love a fenced backyard to run laps in, after he visited his foster grandparents and was introduced to their fenced backyard. He doesn’t love being alone but is getting better at it with access to a quiet, comfy spot that’s all his.” Meet Bingo! Bingo is a very special man that came to us through Angel’s Retreat’s “ACCTs of Love” program due to needing advanced care as he was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Bingo originally came to the other shelter as a stray found in a mobile home park with a gunshot to the top of his nose cavity. When Bingo was found, despite the massive amount of pain he was in, they reported him to still greet the strangers that found him with tail wags, and looking to be petted 🥹 Bingo’s wound was caused from a bullet going through his skull, through the roof of his mouth, through his tongue, and then getting lodged in his neck. Amazingly, the bullet missed all his airways and vital organs! He needed time to heal but recovered beautifully and is ready to find his happy ever after! 🫶🏼 Bingo has done wonderful learning these skills, house, manners, doggy manners, and how to be the all-around great boy. He is a quick learner, and the biggest lover you could imagine. He wants nothing more than a person to give all his love to! Could you be that person? If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Bingo Quick Facts: -He is house trained and has great manners -He is the sweetest boy who would love nothing more than a person to snuggle and kiss! -He is gets along with dogs he knows but does require a proper dog introduction -He is a sunbather! He is more interested in chilling and snuggling than being very active -He needs someone who can continue to work on his confidence building on a leash, but he is doing wonderful learning with his favorite volunteers! -He loves his people friends and is a leaner who loves to lean on people to get some love 🫶🏼
