Story
💕 Foster Update 💕 “Now that he’s spent some time with us, it’s very clear that Bingo loves people, food, the sun, and sleeping under blankets, in that order. He’s his happiest when he can be with his people friends or bathing in the sun but preferably both at the same time. He does great in the car and is house trained. He’s a very sweet dog who just wants to snuggle and maybe a bully stick or two.” ⭐️ Bingo’s adoption fee has been sponsored by Debi McKee ⭐️ Meet Bingo! Bingo is a very special man that came to us through Angel’s Retreat’s “ACCTs of Love” program due to needing advanced care as he was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Bingo originally came to the other shelter as a stray found in a mobile home park with a gunshot to the top of his nose cavity. When Bingo was found, despite the massive amount of pain he was in, they reported him to still greet the strangers that found him with tail wags, and looking to be petted 🥹 Bingo’s wound was caused from a bullet going through his skull, through the roof of his mouth, through his tongue, and then getting lodged in his neck. Amazingly, the bullet missed all his airways and vital organs! He needed time to heal but recovered beautifully and is ready to find his happy ever after! 🫶🏼 Bingo has done wonderful learning these skills, house, manners, doggy manners, and how to be the all-around great boy. He is a quick learner, and the biggest lover you could imagine. He wants nothing more than a person to give all his love to! Could you be that person? If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Bingo Quick Facts: -He is house trained and has great manners -He is the sweetest boy who would love nothing more than a person to snuggle and kiss! -He is gets along with dogs he knows but does require a proper dog introduction -He is a sunbather! He is more interested in chilling and snuggling than being very active -He needs someone who can continue to work on his confidence building on a leash, but he is doing wonderful learning with his favorite volunteers! -He loves his people friends and is a leaner who loves to lean on people to get some love 🫶🏼 Angel’s Retreat West Chester, PA PA Kennel License 17335

Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet Joplin: 105 Pounds of Squishy, Drooly Perfection 🖤 Joplin (formerly Tahri) is an estimated 1-2 year old English Mastiff with the softest face, the squishiest body, and quite possibly the happiest heart on planet Earth. This beautiful girl is a proud ACCT Philly timestamp survivor who spent an entire month waiting patiently at the shelter while potential adopters somehow walked right past one of the best dogs to ever exist. Their loss is truly someone else’s giant, slobbery gain. Since arriving in foster care, Joplin has proven herself to be nothing short of spectacular. In fact, her foster mom confidently reports that she is easily one of the best foster dogs she’s had in a long time—and that’s saying something. So what makes Joplin so special? Glad you asked. ✅ Crate trained ✅ House broken ✅ Excellent in the home ✅ Friendly and social with dogs of all sizes ✅ Loves every adult she’s met so far ✅ Great in the car ✅ Walks nicely on leash ✅ Knows “sit,” “down,” and “off” ✅ Professional cuddler ✅ Certified wiggly booty enthusiast Joplin is the perfect combination of playful and laid back. One minute she’s bouncing around with her giant puppy energy, and the next she’s melting into you on the couch like a 105-pound weighted blanket with jowls. Her entire body turns into a wave when she gets excited, and when she’s really happy, she smiles at you—which is both adorable and mildly unhinged looking in the best possible way. She also loves adventures and car rides, happily loading up for any outing you have planned. Hardware store trip? Great. Coffee run? Amazing. Aimless drive because you needed snacks? She’s already in the passenger seat emotionally. Joplin responds wonderfully to appropriate structure, corrections, and training tools. She’s eager to learn and genuinely wants to make her people happy. She does, however, occasionally express her enthusiasm by launching herself toward you with what her foster mom lovingly refers to as a “mean right hook.” Don’t worry—it’s all love. She just occasionally forgets she’s the size of a small horse. Now, because honesty matters, let’s discuss the mastiff features some people may not be prepared for: 💦 She drools. A lot. Not “a little string after drinking water” drool. We’re talking Olympic-level slobber production. Drool rags are not optional in this household; they are survival equipment. 🧹 She sheds. Constantly. Her soft blonde fur will become part of your home décor, wardrobe, car interior, and probably your morning coffee. Resistance is futile. ⚖️ She’s BIG. At 105 pounds and still filling out, Joplin needs a family comfortable with giant breed dogs and all the joy (and accidental body checks) that come with them. Since being with the rescue, Joplin also underwent bilateral cherry eye repair surgery and is recovering beautifully. Because this can sometimes reoccur in the breed, her future family should understand that additional intervention could potentially be needed later in life. Joplin is: ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Up to date on vaccines ✔️ On preventatives ✔️ Cherry eyes repaired More than anything, Joplin is looking for a forever family who will embrace every goofy, drooly, loving piece of her. She would absolutely thrive with another playful dog companion and humans who appreciate giant breeds and giant personalities. If you’re looking for a quiet houseguest, a road trip buddy, a couch cuddler, a walking comedy routine, and a dog who will love you with her entire gigantic heart, Joplin is ready to move in and never look back 💕 www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
