Age:1 Weight: 118 Location: New Hope, PA Nicknames: Melly Good with other dogs?: Yes. Mel loves all friendly dogs and would benefit from a confident K9 companion. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? OK for kids over: 15 Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Melody's favorite things: Mel loves snacks, taking walks with her people, learning what toys are, rolling in the grass ans sunshine. Melody is good at: meeting dogs, behaving in the house, walking on a leash Ideal home: another dog, quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with people Health issues: Healthy puppy on preventatives and Wellactin Meet Melody Mel was brought to a city shelter and was extremely fearful. She is doing much better and with the right home she will continue her confidence building. She is about a year old and house trained, great on a leash, loves other dogs and NEEDS a fenced in yard. We would prefer an adult only home as she is still afraid of loud noises and lots of commotion. A confident dog would be a big plus.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Story
HATTIE. I am as beautiful as a rose. I radiate beauty with elegance and grace, as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside. I am 7 years young and looking for love. Trying to make up for what I missed the last 7 years. My friends say loving me is effortless. I didn't have an easy life prior to LaMancha, so it's a blessing I was rescued. I was a breeding machine, making tons of money for my so-called family. After my services weren't needed anymore, I was left to fend for myself. Luck was on my side when I was found and rescued. I love my friends here at LaMancha so much. They have been so loving and caring, but they know that my end goal is to finally live in a home where my family really cares for me. I dream for a loving family who really adores and cares for me this time, and of course a comfy bed and some good food too. I am a delightful, pleasant, fun, and sweet girl. I pinky promise you with my paw that we will have many years of endless love, laughter, and fun to be had. I have been around other dogs, but I really think my best home is where I can be your one and only best friend. My heart is exploding with love, and I need to share it with someone that needs to be loved too. I love to snuggle, give paw, play with my toys, run around, and explore all the smells outside, and just feel free, waiting for my new beginning. I am a fun all-around sweet girl, and I love to sit right by your side or on your lap! How about you come meet me? Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org. to meet me. *************************** Seven years old. Spayed, UTD vaccinations, chipped, wormed. Housetrained.
