He thinks he’s much smaller than he actually is and loves nothing more than being right where the action is—cuddling with his humans, soaking up affection, or lounging in a warm patch of sunlight. Highlights & Personality: Family & Kid Friendly: Bear is wonderfully gentle with children (from toddlers to teenagers) and loves being a central part of family life. Dog Friendly: He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, having successfully lived with or spent time around Lab/Golden mixes, French Bulldogs, and Yorkies. Great Road Trip Buddy: Bear travels like a total pro and has comfortably handled multiple 15-hour road trips. House & Crate Manners: He is neutered, lives indoors, and is crate trained—he even enjoys hanging out in his crate with the door wide open. Trained & Responsive: He has basic obedience training, walks well on his training collar, and responds great to structure. Ideal Home Environment: A Home That Loves Giant Snugglers: Bear thrives when he receives plenty of love and attention. While he’s kept off furniture in his current home, if a bedroom door is left open, you might just find him sneaked onto a bed for a quick nap! Sock & Plushie Patrol Needed: Bear loves plush toys, but he will chew up and swallow stuffed animals and socks if they’re left lying around. His new home should be mindful to keep laundry and soft toys out of reach for his safety. Daily Routine: He thrives on a simple routine—fed twice daily with a dash of salmon oil to keep his coat shiny and healthy. Bear is an easygoing, affectionate boy who just wants to be a loving companion to a family that will shower him with the attention he deserves.

Nala is a 4 year old female Boerboel, adopted at 8 weeks from a nearby breeder. She is extremely sweet and obedient, and just wants to be near her people. She needs a home where she can be the only pet, which is not possible in her current situation. We have tried time-sharing the main living space for several years between her and our other dogs. It's apparent that a loving home where she is the only pet would be the happiest and best situation for her. She is very well behaved on neighborhood walks, and remains calm if a reactive and barking dog occasionally passes by. Nala LOVES hikes on wooded trails and she reliably follows closely. She has no interest in chasing animals that you may encounter, likely due in part to her breed's nature.She gets very excited over new toys with (replaceable) squeakers.Nala does need her own yard, and respects our invisible fence boundary without fail.

Meet Nairobi! This sweet girl may be shy when you first meet her, but with a little patience and kindness, she begins to show her gentle, lovely personality. Found roaming near a local high school, Nairobi is still settling in and getting used to her new surroundings. She can be nervous at first, but she is food motivated, which is a great way to help build trust and make new friends. Nairobi is quite thin and has a few rough patches of skin, so she will benefit from some TLC as she gets back on her paws. We are still learning about this sweet girl, including how she feels about other dogs, cats, and children, but we look forward to watching her confidence grow. If you have a little patience and a lot of love to share, Nairobi would love the chance to blossom at her own pace!

This is Atlas, our 3-year-old mastiff who will be turning 4 on Valentine’s Day. We brought Atlas home from a breeder in California when he was just three months old in 2023, and he’s been part of our family ever since. Unfortunately, with a baby on the way, we’ve had to make the heartbreaking decision to look into finding Atlas a new home. Atlas is an incredibly loving, affectionate, and loyal dog. He’s happiest when he’s right next to his people, whether that’s sleeping on the couch, playing, or simply keeping you company. He’s a big boy at around 130 pounds, but most of the time, all he wants to do is relax and be loved. In our experience, Atlas has gotten along well with other animals, although he can sometimes be a little overwhelming because of his size and playful personality. We do want to be completely transparent about his behavior. Atlas has shown protective and guarding behavior around children, including preventing adults from approaching them.
