Meet UnoUno is a 3-year-old boy who came into rescue in really rough shape. He was more than 20 pounds underweight when he was surrendered, and it's been so rewarding watching him put on weight and start to really enjoy life.Uno is just a really sweet, goofy boy. He LOVES water and has no problem with baths. He lets us clip his nails, and he actually enjoys things like scratch boards to file his nails, licky mats and snuffle mats. Give him a bone and he's happy. Give him a yard to run around in and he's even happier!He likes other dogs and loves to give them kisses. He can get a little too excited, though, and sometimes forgets that he's a big boy. When he gets worked up, he may try to jump on the other dogs. He also gets frustrated when he sees other animals while he's on leash, so that's something his new family will need to continue working on with him.Uno isn't a big fan of his crate, but he will go in when he needs to. Given the choice, he'd much rather sleep in bed with his people.He also has a tendency to drink way too much water at once and then regurgitate it, so he takes medication to help with that. His new family will need to continue managing this with him.Thunderstorms are probably Uno's biggest fear. He gets especially scared if he's crated or separated from his people during a storm. He does much better when he can be close to his humans and knows he's safe.Uno has come a LONG way since he arrived.
