Story
Meet Bubblegum! This 73-pound mastiff mix is just a year old and is the definition of delightful! From the moment you lay eyes on this darling girl, you'll want her to be part of your life. Bubblegum treasures her time with volunteers and we feel the same about her. She enjoys entertaining herself with her toys and will proudly bring them back to you to show them off. We can't think of a better way to spend out time than with this enchanting pup! Not only is Bubblegum adorable, she's also eager to learn. She already knows how to sit and takes her treats gently. She will thrive with daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in her new home. Bubblegum could benefit from gaining some weight as well, so ensuring she gets excellent nutrition is key. Based on our evaluation, Bubblegum will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the ability to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby! If you think Bubblegum could be the pup you've been searching for, visit greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for this marvelous mastiff!

Hi, I'm Wiggly, a 6-year-old Mastiff-Shepherd mix with a gorgeous blond coat. 🐾 I'm already neutered and ready to settle into your home, plus I'm a dream when it comes to grooming and bath time. I get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and I take treats so gently you'll hardly feel my nose — I'd actually love to have an animal sibling to keep me company. Story
Meet Goose!! Goose is eagerly awaiting life with his forever family! He is the sweetest little Mastiff/Boxer mix you’ll ever meet! He has an estimated birthdate of 1/9/24 and weighs in at a whopping 86 pounds of charm and delight… and he’s currently underweight This super strong boy is great with other dogs and absolutely LOVES people!! Kids are his absolute favorite!! Goose is current on his vaccines but, because he had not been taken care of properly he’s tested positive for heartworms and is being treated for heartworms on slow kill method by The Artemis Project. But don’t let that stop you because the rescue will continue to provide and fund the medications for the duration of his treatment even after he is adopted Bottom line - he is SO ready for a wonderful life with… YOU!!. Please give this beautiful boy a chance to win your heart and become your best friend forever! He is looking for his forever family… that very well may be you! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Hey there — I'm Kongo, a striking 5-year-old red and white Terrier-Mastiff mix, and I'm ready for my next adventure! 🐕 I'm a solid 61-pound guy who walks beautifully on leash, I'm housetrained, and I'm easy to handle — which means I'm a fantastic companion for active families. I've got plenty of energy and smarts to match, and I do great in playgroups where I can be independent and have my own space.

He’s a little shy at first but dont let that fool you, he’s fiesty, playful, and fast; always ready for action!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.
