Story
Need to rehome asap . 8 month old pit mastiff rescued from a shelter . Darcy is amazing puppy she doesn’t bark often unless someone comes unannounced at night and it scares her . She’s crate trained and potty trained, I got her for my anxiety but can’t keep her where I’m going she’s truly a great dog she just doesn’t understand her size when it comes to love . She’s a lap dog by heart ❤️ she’s amazing with my four year old . She loves to run and she is great at staying in the yard. With the proper training she would make a great service dog or companion to take everywhere . I’m charging a $50 rehome fee to make sure she goes somewhere and gets loved like she should .

Story
Meet Goose!! Goose is eagerly awaiting life with his forever family! He is the sweetest little Mastiff/Boxer mix you’ll ever meet! He has an estimated birthdate of 1/9/24 and weighs in at a whopping 86 pounds of charm and delight… and he’s currently underweight This super strong boy is great with other dogs and absolutely LOVES people!! Kids are his absolute favorite!! Goose is current on his vaccines but, because he had not been taken care of properly he’s tested positive for heartworms and is being treated for heartworms on slow kill method by The Artemis Project. But don’t let that stop you because the rescue will continue to provide and fund the medications for the duration of his treatment even after he is adopted Bottom line - he is SO ready for a wonderful life with… YOU!!. Please give this beautiful boy a chance to win your heart and become your best friend forever! He is looking for his forever family… that very well may be you! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Oh No is a 2-month-old Pit Bull/Mastiff mix puppy with a gentle heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and experiencing new places, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly begins to show her sweet personality. As she`s gaining confidence, she`s also learning how to play with other dogs and is enjoying making new canine friends. As a guardian breed mix, Oh No will benefit from continued positive socialization and training throughout puppyhood to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult.

Story
Hey there — I'm Kongo, a striking 5-year-old red and white Terrier-Mastiff mix, and I'm ready for my next adventure! 🐕 I'm a solid 61-pound guy who walks beautifully on leash, I'm housetrained, and I'm easy to handle — which means I'm a fantastic companion for active families. I've got plenty of energy and smarts to match, and I do great in playgroups where I can be independent and have my own space.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Uno!   Uno’s life before rescue was heartbreaking. He had been locked away in a back room — forgotten, neglected, and slowly wasting away. His meals were inconsistent, and water was a rare luxury. His former owners claimed he “threw up when he drank,” so instead of proper hydration, they’d give him ice cubes… when they remembered. In just two months, this once-chunky boy withered to skin and bones.   Thankfully, someone noticed his suffering and reached out for help. And even though we were already overwhelmed, we couldn’t turn away — because Uno deserves so much more than to be discarded and ignored.   Since arriving, Uno has had a warm bath, a nail trim, all necessary medical treatment, and most importantly, love. He’s on high-calorie food to help him regain his strength, and he’s now safe at a kennel.   Uno is strong, affectionate, and happiest when he’s close to someone who cares. At the kennel, he calmly walks past other dogs without issue. He enjoys walks (though he could use a little leash training) and absolutely adores belly rubs. He’s currently being treated for mange caused by stress and malnutrition, but with consistent care, he’s expected to recover quickly.   Uno’s journey has just begun, but his heart is already full of hope — and he’s ready to share that love with his future family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment.
