TWIX Meet Twix. He is a 3yr old, male Mastiff Shephard weighing 65 lbs. His previous owner got him as a puppy from a friend’s litter but can no longer keep him ☹ Twix is a silly, playful goofball. He enjoys long walks, hiking, camping, swimming, tug and fetch. Twix is very sweet, loves physical and verbal affection. He can match your energy to be very active or can be a couch potato. Twix has had multiple professional training experiences, all successful. He is a very quick and motivated learner. He is thoroughly house-trained as well as crate-trained. He loves his crate! He will crate himself to take naps throughout the day and also will tuck himself to bed when the sun goes down and sleeps through the night. Twix will do best with experienced, active dog owner(s) who are able to be consistent with good daily habits to strengthen his foundational training. He walks very well on leash and knows how to heel. Twix prefers to be the only pet in the house. Small children are not recommended due to size and energy level. This 76.5 pound (as of 8/11/24) and approximately 5.5 year old (as of January 31, 2025) gentle soul is affectionate and loves to just relax on the couch. He wants to be with his human to get hugs and kisses. His gentle nature and easy going personality are the perfect combination. We think he is a Mastiff mix. This handsome guy was on an euthanasia list in California but we rescued him. LOUIE is calm and laid back. His will make a perfect best buddy. My tail starts wagging the second I hear “Peanut Butter Jelly Time!” A good meal makes me very happy (I’m working on filling out these long legs), and I’ll never say no to a big bowl of water. I take naps very seriously. Cuddles, gentle massages, and cozy downtime? That’s MY love language! Hi. I’m Duke I’m a loving, cute, sleepy guy who’s looking for a family to call my own.I love going on walks (even if I still pull a bit because I’m excited to say hi), then coming home to do what I do best: rest, snuggle, and keep you company. My energy level is pretty low - I’m more of a chill buddy” than “marathon runner.” At home, I’m super sweet and really want to please you. I’m still learning my commands (food helps ), but I’m trying every day. I listen when I’m told to leave things alone, play gently with other dogs, and I’m respectful with cats - even if I really want to be friends. I’ll sit on the couch and watch the cat like it’s my favorite show. I sleep in my crate at night and during the day, but I’m still learning that it’s a safe space - especially when treats are involved. I’d do best with someone patient, calm, who has experience with bigger dogs like me - who are still learning!I’m only 2 years old and I weigh about 120 lbs, but I’m on the skinny side and working on gaining healthy weight with regular meals. What I really want is a home with chill energy, consistency, patience, and LOTS of affection.
