Story
This big guy is eager to please and train, but he will need ongoing training and strong pack leader as his owner. Cole is young, responds well to correcting and playful with most other dogs. Cole was scared of the cats he met at the vets office and will probably do fine in a home with getting to know kitties slowly. This dog currently resides in Bandera, Tx. , We transport dogs to Washington State usually 2-3 times a month. Please understand that there is additional vetting, health certificates and costs involved with transporting a dog from Texas to Washington and our adoption fee includes all costs involved. *All of our dogs have tested Heart-worm negative and are on a monthly heart worm prevention protocol

Story
Hello, The time has come to say goodbye to my beloved friend. Moppet was adopted via Seattle humane 2 years ago after spending nearly 7 years in various shelters. We’ve been through a lot and all medical, dental and related issues have been addressed. Unfortunately, I’m not able to keep him anymore due to financial and issues with my property management. With training he will be fine with dogs and he’s reactive with small kids, but with patience and care he can be trained. Moppet has some dietary issues and is on medication, but nothing excessive. At adoption, I’ll provide everything you need. His new home must be zero drama, stable in routine, absolutely no smokers, or vaping and no aggression. Thank you for taking the time to consider adopting my baby boy. Ben

Story
I'm Chrisandra, a very sweet and affectionate 10-month-old Mastiff mix, and I'm on the lookout for a cozy home. I may not be the biggest fan of treats, but what truly makes my heart sing is the magic of physical touch. I thrive on gentle pets, scratches behind the ears, and any form of close contact with my favorite humans. If you're looking for a furry friend who adores being near you, look no further! Ball toys occasionally catch my interest, and I love a good game of play, but nothing beats the comfort of leaning into you for pets. I'm a loyal companion who will follow you wherever you go, ready to share in your adventures and provide you with endless love and companionship. I must admit, I have a soft spot for my humans, and sometimes being apart from you can make me a bit anxious. So, if you're considering making me a part of your family, a little extra patience and understanding about my feelings when you're away would mean the world to me. If you're ready to open your heart to a gentle giant like me, come meet me at the shelter. Come see if we're a match at KHS today! Story
The lovable giant with a heart as big as his paws! At just 2 years old, Sultan has already mastered the art of cuddling and playing, making him the perfect companion for kids and dogs alike. His gentle nature shines through in every interaction, ensuring that playtime is always a joyous experience. Sultan is not just a giant in size; he's a giant in manners too. House trained and crate trained, he effortlessly navigates the ins and outs of home life. While he may be a bit forgetful around small animals (after all, he's got a lot of love to give and sometimes forgets just how big he is.), Sultan is an expert in following commands. He's a little chatterbox, always expressing himself with vocal enthusiasm. With Sultan around, you can count on him to respond to all the essential commands-sit, stay, leave it, and gentle. His eagerness to please and friendly demeanor make him a delightful addition to any family. Just be sure to keep an eye on your belongings because Sultan, like any two-year-old, loves to chew his way through life's little adventures!

I love playing with my fellow puppy students almost as much as I love my snuggle time after I eat and fill my belly. Once I complete this class, that I am finding to be a breeze, I will make a wonderful addition to your home. So please keep me in mind when deciding on adding a new addition to your pack! Sincerely, Scooby5/24 - Hey everyone, it's Scooby again! I wanted to stop in and let you know how things have been going so far. I recently discovered I love to scuba dive my face into water buckets to get to the loose grass at the bottom! I love blowing lots of bubbles and trying to catch them with my mouth and paws before they vanish. I haven't caught one yet, but boy do I love trying. I also learned that when I roll over when asking by my handler I get showered with lots of love and treats. Now who’s really training who? He! He! He!UPDATES COMING SOON!Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Mouch & Otis are a bonded pair and would love to get a new forever family together. Neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and potty-trained, these 7-year old boys (birthdates are 1/25/2017) are ready to be your snuggly couch potatoes! Mouch & Otis are a beautiful blend of several breeds, including St. Bernard and Chow. Originally raised on sprawling fields in Montana getting along with goats, they were amazing protectors and have begun enjoying the finer things in life, like beds and blankets! They love each other, but would be best as the only dogs in the home (you won't need any others with these great guys!). These boys are staying with us in our Olympia boarding facility as their prior owner's health concerns meant they weren't able to continue caring for them. If you would like to meet these boys, let us know!
