Story
My friends needed to rehome her due to the females fighting. I have had her with my male dog and two cats and she has been nothing but sweet. I think her environment was hectic and she deserves a great home. I have 3 kids and my own pets and I don't mind having her until I find the forever home she deserves. She is fully house trained. Crate trained and she loves walks and cuddles. She is perfect for a family with children and male dogs.

Story
Charley is a 160-pound Mastiff with an even bigger heart. Around 4 years old, this handsome boy came to us as a stray, and we suspect he may have been left behind by the person he loved most. Since arriving at the shelter, Charley has seemed understandably down — the noise and change have been hard on him. But beneath that quiet, heavy-hearted exterior is a deeply affectionate dog who just wants connection. When you stop to pet him, he melts, leaning his full weight into you in the sweetest, most trusting way.Charley walks well on leash and knows his potty manners, but make no mistake — he is strong and fully aware of his size. If he decides it’s time to go (or not go), you’ll feel all 160 pounds of opinion. He’ll do best with an experienced owner who can handle his strength and appreciate the gentle, sensitive soul inside the giant frame. We haven’t seen much interest in toys yet — right now, what Charley seems to want most is steady companionship and a soft place to land. If you have room in your home and heart for a loyal shadow, Charley is waiting. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
