Story
Hi, my name is Ollie and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Sep 18, 2023. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Hi, my name is Bobby and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Sep 18, 2023. Everyone calls me a “Goofball,” I’m not sure what that means but I know it has the word “ball” in it! Bringing a smile to my person’s face is what I do best and I’m ready to make every day as fun as I can. I think I’m the happy, funny pup for you!

Story
Meet Buddy, the lovable deaf Dane mix with the goofiest personality you'll ever encounter. Despite his hearing impairment, Buddy's playful and joyful spirit shines through. Whenever he meets a new friend, human or furry, he can't help but dance and play. With his mesmerizing blue eyes, Buddy's charm is irresistible. With some basic training, Buddy will be a dream come true. Buddy's deafness doesn't slow him down; in fact, it amplifies his zest for life. He adores playing, dancing, and spreading happiness wherever he goes. However, Buddy also appreciates some downtime. After all the fun, he loves to stretch his legs in a yard, exploring and enjoying the fresh air before settling down for a nap. Providing Buddy with a yard to roam and play will allow him to recharge his energy and continue being the delightful companion he is. Having spent nearly two months in boarding, Buddy is eagerly searching for his forever family. He yearns for a loving home where he can share his abundant affection and make every day a joyful adventure. If you're ready to open your heart and provide Buddy with the space he needs to stretch his legs in between naps, he will be eternally grateful. Buddy's unique mix of goofiness and charm will surely win you over, making him the cherished companion you've been dreaming of. Buddy will do best in a house with space for him to walk around as he is a large boy who needs his exercise. (He easily takes up the whole couch!) He is not always aware of his size and may step on your toes accidentally -- just breathe through it! Also, Buddy is not aware of the volume of his barking and for that reason is not suited for apartment life as he may disturb your neighbors. He loves smaller dogs as he used to live in a foster home with pugs. When passing a smaller dog on the sidewalk, Buddy will get too excited and jump around barking loudly at the pup. It comes across as scary to the smaller dog because of his size and the loud volume at which he is barking at them. This is another reason a home with a yard will be good for Buddy -- it will reduce the times when he will get exposed to smaller dogs which he may frighten with his larger-than-life excitement and size. With proper training, Buddy should be able to contain his excitement. Apply through our website northwestwagrescue.orgAdoption Fee $350 ##1657012##

Story
Andre is a humongous boy but he is a real sweetie but he doesn't know his own size or strength. Even though he is estimated to be around 2, he is basically a 150 pound puppy. He is incredibly mouthy and bouncy. He does need a little training but he has the potential to be a very good boy. He may be better suited to a home that has some experience with giant breeds, and may do best being the only animal in the home. He does have a medical waiver. The dog adoption fee is $90.
