Story
Meet Roxie! Roxie slipped into our program by posing as an 8-year-old, but we quickly figured out she was nowhere near a senior! Even though she has been through so many challenges in her short life, you would never know it. Roxie is fun and sassy, energetic, and ready for action. She loves her toys and craves attention from her people. Roxie came to us from Hermosillo, where she was found as a stray. The wonderful rescuers there got her the medical care she needed and looked for help in finding Roxie her new family. Roxie is great with other dogs and kids. She would be a great companion for an active family. Think Roxie is the perfect fit for you? Apply today at foreverlovedpets.org/adopt. Roxie is a 4-year-old, 15 pound terrier mix.

Story
Vanessa is a beautiful, very shy poodle female who is in need of a patient loving adopter. She is just 3 years of age. Vanessa weighs 9 lbs. She came from a hoarding situation so she does not have a lot of socialization to things outside of a normal home environment but once she gets to know you she is very loving and loyal and will greet you enthusiastically. She gets along with the other dogs and seems ok with cats. She would be ok with children over the age of 10 most likely. She will take some time and patience to acclimate to a new home so we are looking for an adopter who lives in a fairly quiet environment who perhaps has experience working with fearful or under socialized dogs. Like many of our rescued dogs we are not sure how much housetraining Vanessa has. She is using a dog door at the rescue. Undoubtedly she will require some patience and consistency to finish up her training. Vanessa will require brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Vanessa's adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, spaying or neutering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Story
Brillo is a happy, playful, puppy-like boy who is loyal and becomes very devoted to his person once he gets to know them. He is estimated to be around 8 years old but he often acts like a puppy, wanting to play, nibbling on your hands and begging for love. He is well behaved around people as well as other dogs. He would do best as an only dog or possibly with a female but Brillo cares more about people than dogs. He walks well on a leash and likes car rides. He is a Poodle with perhaps another breed or two in there but he does not shed. He is a bit shy upon first meeting but once he knows you he will love you forever. Like many of our rescued dogs we are not certain the amount of house training Brillo has had. He is always seeking approval and therefore should be easy to train with positive reinforcement. Brillo is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Brillo's adoption fee is $375 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue.
