Rudy is a 7 year old poodle mix whose world was flipped upside down with his former owner’s cancer diagnosis. This is so heartbreaking as it’s nobody’s fault and many times owners cannot fathom ever having to give up their babies. When dogs are fearful of new people it wouldn’t matter…as long as you outlive your dog. This was not the case for poor Rudy. Now he just needs someone to give him a chance! He IS afraid of new people and may snap if approached too quickly by a stranger. But once he knows you are his person/people, he is solid. He is loyal, devoted and so kind. He isa perfect house companion for the right person. Can you give Rudy a chance? Rudy is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Rudy’s adoption fee is $ 275 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
