Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Spiderman, and I am a beautiful Poodle boy who Is 4 years old, and I weigh11 pounds. I need a quiet home with a sibling my size to teach me all about this big new world. If you have been waiting for a little Poodle boy, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Spiderman 041523-30  April 17, 2024, 10:20 pm

Story
Kobe is a wonderful 5-7-year-old mini poodle who is in search of his forever home. Despite facing a challenging start in life, Kobe is ready for his next adventure. Kobe is known for being exceptionally friendly and getting along well with both people and other dogs. This absolute sweetheart is a true cuddle enthusiast. Eager to bear hug you all day if you'd let him. Kobe is actively seeking a home with an individual or family who not only appreciates his loving nature but is also committed to continuing the training that has already brought out the best in him. He has been a resource guarder in the past, but we have worked through the vast majority of that habit. It most commonly involved him grabbing something hanging off the counter, or snatching something out of the trash, only lashing out if you went to physically pull him away from the object. He would snap. It's a seamless process for us, however, his adopter will need to be willing to learn the protocols we use to keep everyone safe! We do not adopt any of our dogs out to people with young children (under 15), for the safety of our dogs. Not good with cats. If you're interested in learning more about Kobe and believe you could provide him with the home he deserves, please submit an adoption application with the link below. https://www.handoverrover.org/adoptionapplication

Story
** ARIZONA ONLY ** PHOENIX METRO AREA ** Puppy Bruno would like another fur-playpal in the home. He was born 12-26-23. His mama was a white bichon poodle about 17 pounds. We don't know who the papa was but we are guessing, MAYBE a small lab, or maybe a beagle? We just don't know. Full grown, we are estimating Bruno might end up in the 18-30 pound range. He prefers a yard with grass or turf. Any children in the home must be at least 12 years old and of a significant kind, gentle, responsible, and respectful nature. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
4 yrs old female, shy and very quite, warms up after getting to know you. Good with other dogs. Purchased her from an elderly private owner who was not able to train Must be crated while away, not indoor potty trained, uses doggie door or fenced yard for outside. Not accustomed to walks with a leash, must be trained. Currently using a harness to control. Does not respond well to a plain collar. Great Bichon markings, not registered, needs tender love
