Toffee Rose is a very sweet dog with adults (she has not been exposed to children). She is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and she is quiet (rarely barks). She is OK around other pets but has moderate resource guarding behavior/possession aggression so she would do best being in an independent home without other dogs as well as cats. She really enjoys her walks but also loves being a couch potato.

Pooky is the last sibling thats looking for her forever home. Shes sister to Aiko (Leonas litter of pups). Shes appx 3 yrs old, a bit shy but shes getting more comfortable day to day. She weights about 15 to 17lbs. Mini poodle. Shes very gentle with everyone and does well with other dogs!

Bailey is a bit over a year old and shes a poodle mix! She weights about 20lbs, she is crate trained and she loves people! She does well with other dogs and shes very treat motivated. She walks well on leash and she does well with kids. She drools a lot in car rides but this will get better as she gets more experience. She is very curious and loves going out on walks.

Like her composer namesake, our Rossini is something of a prodigy, but her chosen field of expression is affection. A sweet poodle princess currently recovering from some skin issues, she is a master of all the lap-based arts including cuddling, nuzzling, and snoogling. Gentle and attentive, she finds opportunities to soothe like a heat-seeking missile, moving in with a tender spirit and the intention to heal. She gets along with other dogs and likes treats, which is good news given her intelligence. Adopt this lovely girl for comfort and joy. Next thing you know, she’ll be doing your taxes. Here's some notes from her foster: Rossini is an absolute sweetheart. She is also eager for pets/cuddles and will rub her nose on your hand/arm the moment you stop to tell you to continue. Her tail wags like crazy every time you call her name and she loves to get up onto you when approaching you. She is very food motivated! She is also very good at taking medication along with her meals. SHE LOVE TREATS! She is super delicate when taking treats and does not hurt one bit! She is great with getting up on the couch and taking elevators. She is a puller on walks, but that is because she is so curious! She appears to be potty trained! She usually chills in her dog bed and snoozes for a majority of the day while i am working, but occasionally would come up on my lap.

We have a rare find at Muttville this week – a schnoodle (mix between a schnauzer and a poodle)! This gorgeous gentleman goes by the name Puccini and has the curliest black and tan curly wire hair which makes him look more like an animated teddy bear than a dog (and he’s super soft, too!). Puccini is a ladies’ man who has wasted no time ingratiating himself with the female mutts at Muttville, but in a respectful way – he might do well with a dog sibling to play with. His tan snout resembles a dapper mustache, giving Puccini a dignified air. This sweet senior is looking to find himself the perfect forever home in which to compose – do you think you could make music together?

Story
Tink is an 8-year-old miniature poodle that we adopted when she was one year old. She loves being around her family, and enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, rolling her ball off of every ledge imaginable, and sleeping in the sun. Finding a nice, quiet sun patch might be her favorite thing to do! Most of the time, Tink is calm and playful; however, she is a reactive dog and does have a bite history. About one year after adoption, she bit me in the face as I was leaning in to kiss her, but did not realize she had a treat near her. This did cause bleeding. Recently, she nipped at our two week old baby when she was crying. This did not leave a mark. We had spoken with a couple behavioralists, and both seemed to think this behavior can be corrected. Tink is seeking a loving and quiet home where she is the only pet, and a home that is not too active, as she does not like to be left alone for long periods. Tink would do well with a retired owner who has the time to be with her and love her.
