Millie is a good girl, she is extremely active and playful and once she trusts you she is your friend for life (she is fearful at first so you need to give her time to get comfortable in a new home-patience is key). She's very energetic so we are looking for an active family home for her with someone who works from home preferably (she is not suitable for a senior/quiet home-she is too active). She gets along with most dogs but would prefer to have the attention of an only dog. She curled into the smallest ball she could make, hoping the world would simply leave her alone. She wouldn’t come forward to greet anyone; she had lost trust, and she had lost hope. At just 30 lbs, she’s still gaining weight after refusing to eat in the shelter from fear and confusion. But despite everything she’s endured, Butterscotch is quietly, bravely learning to live again. While Gimpy navigates the world with limited sight and hearing, he makes up for it with a heart full of curiosity.
