I found Scruffy running on the streets of Lakewood, CA. He was extremely matted and starving and Thirsty! He is also starving for affection. Scruffy has a lot of fear in him. He definitely has a fear of big dogs. This is why I can't keep him. Scruffy would do well in a home with no other dogs or just little dogs. I can tell he has been trained in the past. I can open the crate and point and he will go right in! I feel bad that he either has to wear a muzzle or stay in the crate because he will attack my big dog just because he is scared. I don't want him to go to a shelter because I fear he will be euthanized. But, I cannot keep him. He is chipped but no one answers the number on file. Can you help him? Tina-

We need a foster who will let us spend some time at their home until we find a new home. Our owners went through a divorce and neither of them decided to keep us. We are pretty bonded and won’t be separated. We know there is a special home for us out there. A family that will never abandon us again! Bella's Brother Charlie can be a bit grumpy and doesn’t enjoy baths, he likes to be left alone. Bella is the outgoing one, who loves cuddles and who protects her fur brother. A home with a yard would be ideal. We like to hang out and play in the yard.
