Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who just needs a little patience to shine, Moe may be the perfect match for Adoption Fee: $400 Apply to adopt Moe: www.adoggie4you.org Give this gentle boy the loving home he’s been waiting for! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 23, 2026, 5:10 pm

Story
Meet Barkley! Barkley is a 5 year old, 15-lb mini poodle who loves the outdoors and playing with other dogs! Barkley was rescued from a puppy mill so he is finally getting the chance to learn what a good life is like! He is a very curious little guy who is constantly looking for something or someplace new to explore. He spends as much time as he can soaking up the sun and just chillin' on the back deck. He is very shy around people and sudden noises, so he will need a patient home willing to give him the time he needs to blossom. He can't wait to let his personality shine! We are still working on leash and potty training but he's smart and making progress everyday! Barkley is crate trained and sees it as his safe space. He is fostered with other dogs and does wonderfully with them. His favorite treats are chicken and scrambled eggs. Barkley would love a home with a fenced in yard and another dog so he can continue making progress. He wants nothing more than to be part of a family who will love him! Barkley is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

He'll need a patient, loving family willing to let him learn at his own pace and show him that life can be full of comfort, kindness, attention, and endless scritches. Could you be the one to give this sweet little guy the happy ending he deserves? 🐶💕 Gandalf is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Meet Frodo! 🐾 Frodo is a 3.5-year-old, 10-pound Miniature Poodle who is finally getting his chance at freedom! This little guy spent his entire life in an Amish puppy mill, where his job was to produce adorable puppies to be sold. Now, Frodo has been surrendered, and it's finally his turn to be loved! ❤️ Frodo is learning what it means to be a dog and discovering that humans can be pretty wonderful, especially when they offer his favorite thing: scritches! 🥰 He's also getting along well with all the other dogs in his foster home, who are helping show him the ropes of being a regular dog. Potty training is a work in progress, but he's catching on quickly! Frodo is still frightened of leashes, so a physically fenced yard is a must while he continues to build confidence and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. Here's another little win for Frodo: he sleeps quietly through the night in a puppy pen with his foster brother, Gandalf. 💤 Frodo has spent his whole life working for someone else. Now, he's ready to find a patient, loving family who will let him take things at his own pace and show him what it means to be cherished. Could you be the one to give this sweet little guy the happy ending he deserves? 🐶💕 Frodo is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $450.00.
