You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)Posted 9/24/2025 Tuesday was a puppy mill dog used to produce puppies.  She has a sweet personality but does need to gain some confidence in herself.  Her quirky thing is she won't eat in front of you so I leave her food in her crate and she eats when I am not there.  She is a bit backward but will come to you after she gets to know you.  She is good with dogs, and good in her crate.  Because she is backward no children under 16.  She does need a fenced yard since she will not poop on a leash.  Her aoption fee is $500 she has had a dental as well.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
Lucas is such a sweet loving boy who gets along great with kids, dogs and cats. He loves to snuggle and is very quiet. I got him from a neighbor who could not care for him anymore and took him to get his check up, shots and deworming. I work a lot of hours and can not care for him. My mom was to assist since she works from home, but she suffered a shoulder injury. Lucas needs help with potty training, but other than that he’s a great dog! I want to see him go to a good home where he can be trained. He loves to learn! He is crate trained as well. He comes with his crate, sweater, food, bowls, collar, bed, toothpaste, 6 months supply of nexguard and records from the vet.

Story
Hey there! My name`s Roy and I am a sweet but shy little man looking for my new home! I came to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about me, but my friends here say I am a lovebug in a poodle body! Speaking of Poodles, I will need consistent grooming as I am prone to matting, Once I warm up, I love to be close and give as many kisses as possible, also I love to speak my mind! I could also possibly go home with a human or furry sibling with proper introductions as long as they can give me some time to warm up! Do I sound like a perfect fit for your family? Come on down and scoop me up today!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Chip, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. I do have a defective paw on my right leg. No one knows how I was injured. The CSAC volunteer says that I am very sweet. I was very comfortable with all the new people I was meeting, and I loved all the attention I was getting. I will be a great lap dog. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Adam Wiggleton!UPDATE from ADAM's FOSTER MOM:  Meet Adam, my ridiculously energetic foster dog who's always game for a walk or hike, loves kids, dogs, and protecting his bird feeder from those pesky squirrels, while simultaneously being a deer-watching enthusiast, sunbathing pro, and if going for ice cream he's ready to go with his other furry siblings..oh, and he's trained to ask politely to go out, this scruffy guy is now looking for his forever home!! Santa didn't bring me a home for Christmas - but I'm hoping for my very own home in the New Year. Breed? Your guess is as good as ours — let’s just call him a “Certified Scruff Mix.” At about two years old, this handsome fellow is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to wiggle right into your heart. Adam was found starving as a stray (we suspect he was abandoned), but he hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. He’s now thriving — full of joy, personality, and just the right amount of mischief.  If his demeanor doesn't suck you right in--his soulful eyes certainly will. He’s a total social butterfly: adores kids, adults, and every dog he’s met. He currently shares his home with two canine buddies and we are looking for a home for him with another friendly companion as he loves, loves, loves to play.  Adam is an outdoorsy guy who loves hiking, zooming around with friends, and attending local baseball games with his foster mom — he’s practically the team’s unofficial mascot! &#226&#154&#190 His only “flaw”? He’s a professional countersurfer. We blame his rough start in life… but he’s quick, clever, and very proud of his title. Adam is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is being lovingly fostered in the Selinsgrove area. If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, adventure-loving companion (with a PhD in snack detection), Adam Wiggleton is your guy! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rudy Joe Rudy Joe is a 3-year-old red miniature poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Raised in a breeding facility, Rudy arrived to us matted and bedraggled, unsure of the world beyond his small kennel. But after a warm bath, a fresh groom, and lots of gentle love, his sweet personality truly came alive. Now Rudy is all about the good life! He loves cuddling in bed with his foster mom and her three canine companions—both big and small. He also lives peacefully with a cat and is doing very well with housetraining. Rudy Joe has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines (with one booster scheduled in two weeks), and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is currently being lovingly fostered in the Northumberland, PA community, where he continues to blossom more every day. Rudy Joe is ready for a home where he can keep learning what it means to be cherished—snuggles included.
