You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application.The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!*Diva and her BEST friend Iggy lived in a VERY filthy home.  When they were found during a 'well check' they were immediately picked up and taken away from the crappy existence they had lived in all their life :(  These 2 little girls are the SWEETEST girls EVER and they do not leave each others sight!  We will not separate them they deserve to keep their best friend FUR LIFE!!!If you are looking for a bonded pair you couldn't get a sweeter set!MUST BE ADOPTED AS A BONDED PAIRMUST HAVE FENCEMUST HAVE PATIENCE AS THEY ARE SCARED OF EVERYTHINGVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. He did come from a puppy mill, so he will need another dog in the home to show him the ropes and a fenced yard as he is not accepting of a leash yet. Copper is shy with humans, so patience is a must, but he is smart! He picks up on the routine quickly. He is brave with his new lease on life and enjoying life as a house dog. Copper is learning housetraining, is crate trained, rides well in a car, and loves treats. Each day he comes around more, and with time, he will be a wonderful companion for his new family. Dumpling is a sweet three year old. She does wonderful with other dogs , and cats.. She is housebroken, is crate trained but prefers to have the door open for her to walk out. She does have a bit of defense if you reach in the cage before she knows you well. Definitely fear based, the shape she arrived was pretty bad so I'm sure she will get beyond that. Because of this we are recommending older children only. She has recently been shaved because of a massive amounts of mats. Her hair is soft and grown back out will have a beautiful curl to it. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3.
