Story
Meet Greatboy: Greatboy is estimated to be about a 2 year old (as of December 2025) doodle mix (best guess) that weighs about 23 pounds. Greatboy was found at an animal shelter and we were able to get him into our rescue and a foster home. Greatboy is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Greatboy is extremely playful and affectionate. Greatboy is an all around great pet to have around and gets along fine with other dogs. Greatboy is currently using a doggie door as may need some patience while learning a new system. We would love for Greatboy to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it is not a requirement. Greatboy is up to date on his shots and neutered. Greatboy tested heart worm positive and has been undergoing treatments. If you are interested in giving this cutie a great home, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)Posted 9/24/2025 Tuesday was a puppy mill dog used to produce puppies.  She has a sweet personality but does need to gain some confidence in herself.  Her quirky thing is she won't eat in front of you so I leave her food in her crate and she eats when I am not there.  She is a bit backward but will come to you after she gets to know you.  She is good with dogs, and good in her crate.  Because she is backward no children under 16.  She does need a fenced yard since she will not poop on a leash.  Her aoption fee is $500 she has had a dental as well.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
We adopted Boomer after his elderly owner passed away 2.5 years ago. We love Boomer but are choosing to rehome him because he and our first dog have never gotten along and our first dog has now bitten Boomer twice. Boomer would do best in a home where he is the only dog. He does have separation anxiety so his new home should have someone home most of the time. He likes to play fetch with toys and will sit in your lap as long as you let him. We take him camping with us and he loves the beach and is able to go on long hikes. He does very well on a leash and long car rides and he sleeps in a crate. In his first home, he was puppy pad trained. We still keep pads out for him but he potties outside 80% of the time, and uses the pads otherwise. He is 12 years old now, I would recommend he not be in a home with small children. Complete transparency, he has nipped at me 2 times. He enjoys being outside but would do well in an apartment. We hope to find a loving forever home for Boomer.

Story
Kash Monee Mernar is ready to find his forever!!! This adorable one year-old Cockapoo is truly a miracle 🙌 He was hit by a car in late August and he sustained multiple pelvic fractures. Zoe’s House took responsibility for his care and he was rushed to Penn Veterinary Hospital where emergency surgery was performed. His tail was severely displaced and had to be amputated but that just means his whole body wags when he is happy to see his person 🥰 Kash has spent the last two months rehabbing at Penn and in his foster home. Remarkably, he has good use of both rear legs. Kash is running and playing with his foster fur siblings! He is fully house trained although regression in a new home is common. He lounges in a playpen when his foster mom must leave during the day. At night, he has been sleeping in a bassinet of sorts right by foster mom‘s bed (yes this boy has been spoiled🤭) although he loves to lie on the bed to hang out and watch TV. He is still gaining strength in his left rear leg and his balance can be off at times, but he is growing stronger every day. For this reason, only children 12+ will be considered in his forever home. Kash is neutered and is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. He walks well on a leash and travels beautifully in the car. His forever family could have a young playful dog, or he could be your one and only. Most important is that his forever family have plenty of time to shower him with love and attention which he absolutely deserves. This boy’s favorite place is your lap❤️ Kash is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County and his new family should be prepared to travel there for the adoption. A home visit and meet and greet with all family members is part of the process. Kash Monee MERNAR was named after the late Linda Mernar who was a beloved supporter of Zoe’s House. We know she will be Kash’s forever guardian angel 🪽 If you think you can provide this sweet boy with his best home, then apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com.
