Story
Please fill out an application to start the process to meet LEVI. Meet and greets will be held in TARZANA, CA at his foster’s home. https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php? id=17980 Not good with children and he will require a very ALPHA owner to work with him on his manners! LEVI is just 1 years old, he weighs 22 lbs, and is a neutered Mini Schnauzer/Bouvier Des Flandres mix who has a gorgeous brown and gray curly coat which will require diligent upkeep and professional grooming. Levi has average energy and demeanor and he will require a yard that he can run around and explore in, a home with an owner who will be working from home, retired, or single and active owner who can provide a lot of exercise for him. Levi is current on vaccines, is microchipped and neutered. Levi has had a lot of turmoil in his young life. He ended up in the shelter at just a year old; he was adopted and returned back to the shelter in less than a month for being too rough with a child, therefore, a home with no children is a must. Levi is very young, rambunctious and very trainable! Levi has recently been adopted and returned (yet again) after a month and he is very sad at the moment and we are truly heartbroken for him. Our contract states that his adopter will get a trainer to work with him and his recent adopters refused to do that. They chose to return him; first stating that he barked, then they decided to keep him, then they decided to return him again, stating that he doesn’t like to be picked up. He’s a 22 lbs dog and if he doesn’t want to be picked up….don’t pick him up! It’s really that simple. Levi is very handsome and he would love nothing more than a forever family to call his own! He needs a hero. He needs someone who won’t give up on him - who will work with him. Will that someone be you?

Breed: Miniature Schnauzer / Terrier mix Age: 2 yrs. Weight: 10 lbs. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: unsure Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: none Additional info: Meet Munchie. This cute little nugget is as charming as he is cute. He is pretty much up for anything and is the right size to take anywhere. He can chill in the house but is always down for an adventure. He likes to sit on the center console in the car and take it all in. He also is both crate and potty trained and knows sit. He gets along with other dogs (fostered with Snickers) as well as cats who he is very respectful of. He does love his chew toys (antlers, bones, jw chews) and toys in general. His name fits him as he loves to munch on things that he is supposed to. He can be a little mouthy in a very playful way but will listen to eh, no or stop it and go right back to his toys. He is a true cuddle bug who likes to snuggle up and sleep with you and enjoys being on your lap as you work from home, he is also content to sleep in his crate. He does pull a little on a leash and gives the schnauzer greeting to dogs and people walking by, as he likes to say hi to everyone! If you welcome this cutie into your home, you will fall in love with his cute and spunky personality. Story
Meet Teddy, a brave, three-year-old Schnauzer mix whose resilience shines through his challenging past. Discarded in the harsh environment of the LA projects by his original owner, Teddy experienced rejection firsthand. Attempts to return to what he once called "home" were met with violence, as his owner struck him with a broomstick. Alone, Teddy survived on scraps and navigated busy streets, his vision obstructed by matted fur turned into dreadlocks. When he arrived at our care, he was underweight, with sores covering his body — conditions that took us months to heal. Now, Teddy is a transformed soul, eagerly waiting to find his forever home. Fostered in Los Angeles, CA, we are committed to finding him a loving and secure family, no matter the distance. Teddy has blossomed into the most affectionate companion, known for his loving hugs, joy for walks, and fondness for treats. His tough times on the streets have made him wary of certain noises and cars, and past trauma makes him nervous about facial grooming. Yet, with patience and love, he reveals his true nature as a devoted and gentle friend. Teddy has thrived in a foster home with two young girls, a dog, and a cat, showing no signs of aggression. Fully recovered, Teddy now enjoys a clean bill of health, weighs 21 pounds, is housebroken, and even knows how to use potty pads. He responds to basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and is ready to start a new chapter. To adopt Teddy and welcome a smart, loyal, and incredibly loving dog into your life, please email us at info@TFPF.org.

Story
Meet Kermit Kermit is a sweet little older man. He is good with cats and other dogs. He is a bit deaf and semi blind but very sweet, adorable and cuddly. He has a good appetite! He doesn't need to go for walks and can just be carried out into the yard or hang out on leash for a slow stroll to sniff around. Since he's older, he is wearing pants/belly band in the house. :) He and his two other siblings were being evicted from their home and they were going to be turned in to shelter. Thankfully a Good Samaritan stepped in and intercepted this! Kermit would like to be adopted with Tilly and Harley, attaching links for them here... Harley https://www.petfinder.com/dog/harley-64098994/ca/west-hollywood/ape-action-animals-people-environment-action-ca1249/ Tilly https://www.petfinder.com/dog/tilly-64099230/ca/west-hollywood/ape-action-animals-people-environment-action-ca1249/ Since they need to find homes immediately they can be separated. Kermit is very easy going and it's particular if he's w/another dog or not, so he would be fine separated from the other two and being the only dog to get all the attention, or can be in a home w/other calm dogs since he's a senior and has limited sight/hearing. This is a courtesy post, please call or text Jennifer Ruiz 310-228-8221 if interested. They are located in Van Nuys/CA
