❗ Current Location: South Korea❗ • Personality: She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy. • Affinity with: -Cats: She currently lives with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats but is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. -Dogs: She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. -Adults/Kids: She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. • Shedding: Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. She is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. She also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. • Housetrained: She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood or plastic furniture and grab small items fallen on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. • Separation Anxiety: She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. • Bark or Howl: She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl • Carsickness: She had drooling at first, but now she rides well.

Meet Arin (Schnauzer × Maltese Mix | 3 Years Old | 7.8kg / 35 cm tall / Spayed Female) Arin is a gentle, soft-hearted little girl who is learning what it means to be safe She’s the perfect small companion with a calm and quiet presence. Her Story Arin was rescued from a severe animal hoarding situation involving over 230 dogs in Seoul. The city supported spay surgery and vaccinations, and she is now under the care of AKR and international adoption support. Despite her past, Arin has kept her gentle spirit. Personality & Socialization With People She may be slightly shy at first, but offer a treat and she warms up quickly. Once she knows you, she will: • Come over to greet you • Lean her little body against you • Rub her bottom on you for attention • Even bark softly to say “notice me!” She has no preference between men or women. She can be picked up by placing an arm under her belly, and once bonded, she’ll even roll over to show her tummy. With Other Dogs • She politely greets unfamiliar dogs • Prefers quiet independence rather than active play • Not reactive, even if another dog provokes her • Not particularly afraid of large dogs Because she comes from a hoarding background, she may initially feel more secure in a home where another calm dog is present. Dandan was born on April 4, 2025, and is fully vaccinated. She lives with my family, including two children, and gets along very well with them. She also enjoys playing with cats. I am looking for a new home for her for two reasons. First, I lost my job earlier this year. I did apply for a low-cost spay voucher, but because of financial reasons, I haven’t been able to get her spay Second, I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment. Our downstairs neighbor works night shifts and needs to sleep during the day. When Dandan runs and plays at home, it disturbs the neighbor’s daytime rest. Because of this, I often have to keep her in a crate, which I believe is not good for her. Although I walk her daily, the amount of time she can freely play outside the crate is very limited. After walks, I usually have to put her back into the crate again. For this reason, I sincerely hope to find her a new home with a yard, where she can be let out to play freely and have more space to enjoy her life.

Meet Santos! He is a 4 year old schnauzer/husky mix. He is a sweet, goofy boy who loves being with his human. Santos enjoys playing outside and like to play fetch; although he is still learning to give up the ball after retrieving it. He knows his sit command and is very treat motivated, but he still needs some training. Santos is about 50 pounds and does not realize his size and sometimes jumps on you or can be mouthy. He does however, respond well to correction, but needs someone who can use patience and positive reinforcement to give him guidance and boundaries he needs. He is a smart boy with lots of potential. Santos gets along with other dogs that are more on the submissive side and are smaller than him and he is totally fine with cats. He needs a more experienced dog owner that will give him the boundaries and rules he needs. He will also do best in an adult only home. Santos is full grown at 50 pounds.Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions.
