BARLEY - SPRING ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Barley is a 7.5-year-old, 60 pound, spayed female Mountain Cur mix that came to shelter as a stray. Her right ear is permanently folded down, due to an old hematoma. But, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a friendly and playful girl, who likes squeaky, plush toys and LOVES a good scratch, especially on the base of her tail. According to her finder, Barley didn’t appear to like other animals, but was comfortable and friendly around young children. Barley is UTD on all her shots & completely vetted. Barley has some separation anxiety, which foster has worked with her on. She is doing amazing. Would love to get her into a foster to adopt home, with someone who is home with her. Hi I'm Georgia! At 8 months old and 30 pounds my foster Mom says I'm the perfect size package! I'm a fun loving gal who enjoys playing with toys and bones and playing a nice game of fetch! I currently have several other dogs in my foster home that I get along with well, however I'm still recovering from the scars of my past of not knowing when my next meal was coming so I do need to be fed separately. I would do well with another playful dog in my home to keep me company and help with my confidence. I am working hard on learning new commands and I'm very treat motivated so training me should be fun! She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained, does well in a car and does awesome on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and is probably not a fan of cats. She is a sweetheart with people and is ready to go! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy.
