Story
Meet Our Sweet Brindle Girl – 25 Pounds of Pure Love!   Looking for a new best friend? This sweet-as-can-be pup is ready to be your whole world. She’s an affectionate, eager-to-please young dog who learns quickly and wants nothing more than to make her people happy.   In just three days, she mastered potty training and is now working hard on her manners. She’s learning that four paws on the floor gets attention and that sitting earns treats—and she’s catching on fast!   She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and even coexists peacefully with the household’s strong-willed cat. She’s easygoing, gentle, and quiet in her crate. She’s also discovering the joy of toys and loves going for walks—she’s great on a leash and enjoys exploring the world with you.   Because she’s still practicing polite greetings and occasionally forgets not to jump, she’d do best in a home with older children who can help reinforce her training.   With her beautiful brindle coat, sweet personality, and cuddly 25-pound frame, she’s the perfect mix of fun, affection, and potential. This lovely girl is ready to bond with her forever family—could it be you?   If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2025, 12:52 pm

Story
She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained, does well in a car and does awesome on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and is probably not a fan of cats. She is a sweetheart with people and is ready to go! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy.
