Story
This gal has been at the shelter since she was a day old. Her momma was in an abandoned house and brought to us during the snowstorms in January. She and her sister are the last 2 babies to find homes. Abra is more outgoing and eager to greet people. She is always a happy face to see and loves people. She has the puppy energy and will need all the puppy basic training. She is a fun girl to be around. She gets along with other pups her size, she hasn’t been around too many larger dogs. She will probably be around 40lbs when full grown as that’s what her mama is, we have no idea about the dad.

Story
Asha’s owners loved her but had a farm, and she had a taste for the owner's chickens and chose to surrender her. Asha is high-energy and loves to play, but also loves her snuggles and being with people. She has tested well with dogs, but due to her prey drive towards chickens, we are hesitant to suggest a home with small animals/cats. Asha is heartworm-negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes

BARLEY NEW YEAR NEW FRIEND ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Barley is a 7.5-year-old, 60 pound, spayed female Mountain Cur mix that came to shelter as a stray. Her right ear is permanently folded down, due to an old hematoma. But, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is a friendly and playful girl, who likes squeaky, plush toys and LOVES a good scratch, especially on the base of her tail. According to her finder, Barley didn’t appear to like other animals, but was comfortable and friendly around young children. Barley is UTD on all her shots & completely vetted. Barley has some separation anxiety, which foster has worked with her on. She is doing amazing. Would love to get her into a foster to adopt home, with someone who is home with her. ANNIE MEW YEAR MEW FRIEND ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Annie needs foster or adopter asap. Annie is an 1.5 yr old, 47# pound, female, Coonhound mix that came in to the shelter as a stray. She was running with another dog. Annie is a happy, playful girl that is friendly and enjoys being part of what her human is doing. She is working on her separation anxiety. She has plenty of energy, although not spastic, and is looking for an active family of her own. She experiences a little stress at first. But warms up quickly. We do want to reiterate that she was brought in with another dog, and she seemed to be fine with him. In her current foster home, she plays with the kitties and 2 of the dogs. Also, when she is out of the kennel in a play yard, she is very cuddly and happy towards people! Annie is utd on all vetting, spayed, chipped. Completely ready for her FUREVER home 💜 She would do best with older kids so she doesn't accidentally knock them down playing. Her adoption fee is $100.
