Meet Cherry 🍒 2 year old, Mixed breed, 30lbs, female Cherry came to us a few months ago after she was abandoned in a parking lot with cardboard box full of newborn pups. Luckily a Good Samaritan picked her up and got her to safety. She had 8 beautiful pups and she was such a good mommy. Now it’s her turn to find a forever home! She is on the submissive side and good with other dogs. She is house trained, although we do think she has never lived indoors with a family. We are working on her confidence and she will need a patient home. Cherry is very sweet and loves her belly rubbed. We believe she may be a Mountain Cur mix. Jax is a Mountain Cur/ Australian Cattle Dog and Rat Terrier mix, which means he is driven and craves attention. He has an eagerness to please that we don’t see in many dogs, making him a fantastic dog for someone who enjoys the outdoors, such as hiking, walking, camping or just a leisure walk around the neighborhood. Jax would also excel at agility or a similar activity, he is a quick and agile guy. Jax can be a bit possessive of his person and his toys so he needs a person who while give him clear direction and corrections. He responds very well to verbal commands, he knows what is expected, but he likes to push those boundaries sometimes, he is still young after all. Jax is totally house and crate trained. He walks well on a leash and knows several commands such as sit, down, shake, drop it and stay. If Jax sounds like he would be a good fit for your life, he would love to meet you!
