Meet Cheyenne, a remarkable 5-year-old 50-pound Curr mix who has overcome a challenging past and is seeking a loving and nurturing forever home. Cheyenne was one of twelve dogs and puppies left abandoned in a trailer after their owner passed away. The living conditions they endured were nothing short of horrendous. However, despite the hardships she faced, Cheyenne has remained remarkably calm and friendly. Cheyenne walks beautifully on a leash and is well-mannered during walks. When passing by other barking dogs in their kennels, Cheyenne shows no reaction, demonstrating her ability to remain composed and focused. If you approach her in a calm and gentle manner, she will respond with a soft and almost whisper-like "talking" sound, as if engaging in a secret conversation. Cheyenne also keeps her kennel clean, this leads us to believe she is housebroken! Not only is Cheyenne people-friendly, but she also displays an amiable nature towards other dogs. She shows no signs of aggression or discomfort when interacting with her fellow canines. Moreover, she has exhibited friendliness towards the shelter cat, displaying her adaptable and accepting nature. Cheyenne has shown a particular fondness for children.
