Story
If you are looking for a resilient and intelligent girl puppy to adopt then look no further.  This girl is called Topaz and at 11 weeks of age she is 13 pounds and not really big but SOLID.   From what we know about dog breeds she is a Black Mouth Cur mix....mostly Black Mouth Cur and she is amazing.  She is social and seeks the wonderful attention of the people around her.  Topaz is especially drawn to young children.  She is so young and so impressionable but yet the impression she has made on all the adults who encounter her is pretty strong in the category of 'exceptional personality'.   We love Topaz but what we require for her is very specific.  A good dog owner who has experience and knows how to guide, lead and shape a dog into an obedient and awesomely trained companion.  This girl will outsmart first time dog owners in a sweet way.  She will protect her family and their property and she will be the most devoted companion and sibling to all the children.   She seeks approvals and she will do what it takes to be good in that lane of doing all the right things as a puppy.  She is crate trained, exceptional in exploration of her home and property and she will be potty trained before most puppies.  We expect this girl to grow up to be a large girl but not a giant.  Her weight should be in the 55 pound range and her presence in your family will be loving and life-changing.   Topaz is a rescued pup who has been through early in life challenges.  Through it all, she has stayed loyal and loving to the humans despite early abandonment.  She is a beauty and of great strength and caring.  She is a dog that will take care of her home and people as she becomes a part of the years ahead that make a family remember her as a special dog that made their life better.   If you are interested and seasoned for a very devoted and smart puppy, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 22, 2025, 9:52 pm

Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you life when you ask for an application:  City and state.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 5, 2025, 12:55 pm

He will take a short period to warm up to you, but once he’s comfortable, your patience will have earned you a little shadow with a heart of gold.  You can tell by his eyes, Gray is very expressive; every thought he has ever had has been right there on his face. You can SEE him working through new challenges in his training, new experiences out in the world on a leash like an open, fuzzy book. Gray is playful!  He loves rope toys and a good game of tug-o-war!  He's good with other dogs - loves to run and chase.  He's active and busy and looking for a family to share that with.   Gray and his siblings have blossomed since first rescued.  The foster moms working with this crew have been dedicated and determined offering proper care, nutrition, structure, and basic training, and their dedication has paid off.  In fact, Gray has just completed a training program with one of our partners in Louisiana and did great.  Gray is a really good boy and he's learning the ways of life in a happy family environment.   As with all new pets Gray will need time to adjust to his  new family and new s urroundings.   He will also need someone interested in and able to continue his basic training in order to make him the best dog he can be.  Looking for a best friend, hiking buddy, walking buddy, who's energetic and playful - here's your guy!     Applications can be submitted through https://lgarinc.org/adoption-application/.  Please note that you must be 25 years of age to adopt, and we reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone.  All applications are subject to review and approval and a tax-deductible adoption donation is required to be paid prior to adoption day.   Please note that you must be 25 years of age to adopt and we reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone.  Please be advised that we will not approve adoptions to persons who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on this application.  Incomplete applications will not be processed. Tyson is an active boy - he does need to keep moving, play hard, then crash and snuggle.  Tyson's foster family says he's really quite sweet and would do well with a young family.  He is currently living with a 13 year-old and is so smitten with her, following her everywhere!   Tyson is good with other dogs and is agreeable to cats - however he does like a bit of a chase - not to harm, just to chase.  As with all new pets, Tyson will need time to adjust to a new family and surroundings.  We believe he will do well in an active family with time for outdoo r activities plus indoor downtime.  He will also need someone interested in continuing with the basic training he is getting now but missed out on as a very young pup in order to make him the best adult dog he can be.  The effort will be rewarded with love, devotion and compan ionship for a lifetime. Story
If you like to take your pup to social outings, family get togethers, or just a stroll around the neighborhood, Austin could definitely find a place in your family. This boy is active, but also very social. He loves to play, make new friends, take walks, and hang out with the canines. Austin has embraced life out of the shelter whole heartedly. He is going on adventures such as taking trips to the pet store, which was a bit overwhelming until people started greeting him and offering him treats. This is understandable as Austin has probably always lived his life as stray, and was nevef given the opportunity to experience the fun things life has to offer. We think he would make a great addition to a moderately active family that likes to incorporate their pups in social activities. Austin gets along with other pups, minds his manners with the felines, and loves the kiddos. He is working on his house and crate training with great success. Surprisingly he is quite a natural at leash walking and does well rather he’s out in public or just taking a stroll in the neighborhood. At 10 months old Austin is 35lbs, due to his lengthy but petite build we don’t think he will exceed 45lbs. If you can give this happy boy a home email jonesm4318@gmail.com today! His beautiful coat will catch your eye, his smile will draw you in and when you meet this boy in person we guarantee you will be just smitten with him!
