Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please! This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families. Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way. She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance. This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt. Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL? Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog. Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash. When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike. This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT? If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies. Staff from a high kill shelter reached out to us for help. Marz is one of several dogs we were able to help escape from being euthanized due to overcrowding. Marz is a sweet girl who loves to be by your side. She is good with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks about cats. She has had a dental cleaning done during her spay so she is all set to go to her forever home. Marz is about 5 years old and 25 pounds. Please help Marz find the loving family she deserves. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
