Draco is a very affectionate and bubbly dog. He is a 3 year old adventure dog who loves going on walks and does amazing playing fetch outside! If you want a companion to go on hikes, road trips, or spending time outdoors with, Draco is great with his recall and has a blast outside! He does best as a family dog, I am a single dog owner with a busy schedule. Having a dog like Draco has been a blessing but I believe he would do great with lots of love and attention! Draco is the ultimate snuggle bug, when its time to unwind, Draco loves to come cuddle up next to you or at your feet. Draco and I have a nightly routine where he will sit up from above my pillows and rest his head on my shoulders and we would fall asleep like that every night. Animal Information: Cowboy is a 2-year-old, 100-pound sweetheart (his ideal weight is around 80 pounds) who came to Washington after being adopted directly from a Texas rescue. He has a rock-solid temperament and is friendly with dogs, people, and other animals. Unfortunately, Cowboy’s previous placement wasn’t the right fit. He was adopted by an elderly woman in her 80s who wasn’t able to walk or exercise him. As a result, Cowboy gained weight and wasn’t getting his needs met. After evaluating this beautiful boy, we committed to helping him find a more suitable home where he can truly thrive. Despite his size, Cowboy is easygoing and not difficult to walk. He’s a gentle, affectionate dog who enjoys companionship and would make a wonderful addition to the right family. His ideal home would be with someone who has experience with large breed dogs and lives in a single-family residence. While Cowboy hasn’t lived with children during his time in Washington, he has met several and consistently displayed soft, relaxed body language. Cowboy is ready for a fresh start with a family who can give him the exercise, structure, and love he deserves. Foster Profile: Cowboy is a lovely goofy guy who would love kids of all ages -- but he's a big guy so could knock down a little kid inadvertently--and he's social with dogs too. He's a really nice mix of energy and snuggle and rest -- take him for a nice hike and then snuggle and watch tv when you get home! He does get excited about rabbits and squirrels on walks, and we are working on that (and can help you learn how to keep working on that). He's a fast learner! Animal Information: Tigger was spotted running around a dirt lot with abandoned vehicles on it in the Stanislaus area. He was trapped with two other small dogs, and brought into the shelter. He wound up on the euthanasia list due to lack of space, even though he is a playful, happy puppy. Our rescue partners sent out a plea to help him, and we saw his playful personality and had to say yes. Tigger is fun fun fun fun fun! We can't wait to meet this guy and find him a perfect family here in the PNW! Foster Profile: This little guy is such a love bug! He wants all the cuddles and belly rubs. He has so much energy but is so good at grabbing toys and playing with them by himself. He has taken over the dog bed and brings all the toys over! He loves to meet people and is such a brave little guy with all the new sights and smells. He is a puppy working on learning some manners. He’s very treat oriented and is a smart cookie. With training and routine this guy is going to be the best boy.
