Story
Meet Moonpie — Your Gentle, Copper-Eyed Best Friend Moonpie is the definition of a gentle soul. With his warm copper eyes, adorable white socks, and sweet pointy ears that dip softly when he greets you, he has a way of stealing hearts the moment you meet him. Calm, affectionate, and incredibly loving, Moonpie is happiest simply being close to his people. A few scratches behind his ears are enough to make him close his eyes in complete contentment. This handsome boy is kennel trained, potty trained, and already knows the "sit" command, along with "come," "no," and "get in your box." He's eager to please and enjoys learning, making continued training both easy and rewarding. Moonpie has lived happily with dogs ranging from 30 to 70 pounds and is wonderfully easy-going and chill around his canine friends. He loves a good play session with other dogs but is just as happy stretching out for a peaceful afternoon nap. He also enjoys car rides, comes when called, and has done wonderfully with tweens and teens. His gentle temperament suggests he could also do well with respectful younger children. Moonpie is looking for a family that will appreciate his calm, loving nature while giving him opportunities to enjoy the company of other dogs. Whether he's joining you for a drive, relaxing at your feet after a fun day of play, or simply soaking up your attention, he'll be happiest just being part of your everyday life. If you're looking for an affectionate, loyal companion with a calm personality, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love, Moonpie is ready to become your very best friend. He's patiently waiting for the forever family he deserves. Moonpie is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the NE and PNW after adoption. Story
Kobe is a lovable 6-year-old dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I adopted him in Houston, Texas, in 2021 when he was just 6 months old, and he has been a wonderful companion ever since. Kobe is energetic, playful, and loves staying active. Whether it's going for long walks, running around the yard, or exploring new places, he's always ready for an adventure. He also loves playing with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to socialize with. One of Kobe's best qualities is how friendly he is. He absolutely loves meeting new people and is always excited to make new friends. His happy, outgoing nature makes him a joy to be around, and he's quick to win over everyone he meets. At home, Kobe is independent and well-behaved. When he's not out having fun, he's perfectly content relaxing in a cozy spot, taking a nap, or lounging around the house. He does well on his own and has a great balance of being active when it's time to play and calm when it's time to relax.

Story
Meet Toffee (brindle) and Heath (white), a bonded pair of one-and-a-half-year-old Catahoula mix brothers with an unshakable connection. These two grew up side by side and have been inseparable ever since. Toffee is hearing-impaired and looks to Heath as his guide and emotional support, while Heath takes that role to heart, always looking out for his brother. Both boys are friendly and affectionate, though they can be a bit timid in new situations. Once they warm up, their personalities shine—Heath is the energetic social butterfly, always ready for playtime or a walk, and Toffee brings a gentle, calming presence with his sweet, soulful eyes. They love running and playing together, whether it’s chasing each other around the yard or stretching out in the grass for a good nap. Their bond makes them the perfect team—Heath gives Toffee confidence, and Toffee keeps Heath grounded. They’re looking for a home that will embrace their unique connection and give them both the love, patience, and space to thrive. With Toffee and Heath, you’re not just adopting dogs—you’re gaining a loyal duo that will fill your life with double the love and twice the tail wags. Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.
