Story
Twister is a beautiful, friendly girl who has been through more than most—and come out the other side as a happy, social dog ready for her forever home. She’s great with dogs of all sizes, enjoys group walks, and is also good with cats. She’s the kind of dog who easily becomes your companion and fits into daily life. Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6FPwMardAfI Twister came into a high-intake shelter pregnant, and the stress caused her to lose her puppies. Once she was safe, she quickly showed her true personality—affectionate, easygoing, and eager to connect. She thrives in a social environment and would do well in a home with other pets or regular activity. Good fit: someone looking for a friendly, social dog who enjoys companionship and being part of everyday life. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
**Adopt-a-Pet** Inglorious Basterd has every reason not to trust people. He was dumped along with several siblings. After someone heard a neighbor shooting the puppies, Inglorious Basterd was the one who escaped and showed up on a nearby porch looking for help. If you've seen the movie *Inglourious Basterds*, you'll understand how he got his name. Despite everything he has been through, he is an incredibly sweet boy. He is understandably shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes he is safe, his gentle personality shines through. There isn't a mean bone in his body. At under a year old, Inglorious Basterd currently weighs only about 28 pounds because he arrived severely underweight. Once he reaches a healthy weight, I expect him to stay on the smaller side at around 40 pounds, though he may still grow a little since he's still a puppy. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is also great with cats. Having another friendly dog in the home would likely help him continue building confidence. Inglorious Basterd has already survived things no puppy ever should. Now he just needs someone willing to show him that the rest of his life can be different. Good fit: someone who understands that trust is earned and will give a shy puppy the patience to blossom into the loyal companion he is meant to be. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a fun loving companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog disease." and we have JUST the cure for you!!! I am a DOC :) Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living.... here is what one of my admirers has to say about me ;) "Doc is a super playful dude and is soo happy to meet everyone he sees and just is an overall bouncing bundle of joy. He loves walks, pets and scratches, and loves to do sprints with you. When you're walking he will walk slightly ahead of you and is super excited to meet everyone. He'll try to pull but once he realizes you are not coming too fast he will do this cute little hop thing where he bounces between his front paws and his back paws, its adorable" That is quite an admirer, right??? If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
