a very sweet, smart loving companion. He knows how to sit, go down, stay, give paw, jump, crawl on command. He's very friendly with adults, children, small dogs. he's potty trained and up to date vaccines. Kai comes with me to work. waits for me in my car since I work construction, but summer is coming and won't be able to keep Kai Due to heat and it's unfair and unsafe as he deserves better life... He's a sweetheart, very smart just wants to be loved and go for a walk nap. Kai is a rescue from Ensenada MX unfortunately I can't continue to take care of Kai😢

Story
We rescued mason on 7/21/2019 after losing our puppy. He was docile in the beginning and affectionate. At the time of adoption the shelter told us he was 4 years old. He had a severe ear infection, walked with a limp, and severely matter. We got him cleaned up and he seemed a lot better. There was an incident were he bit my lip, but I believe it was due to the invasion of his space. There has not been any incidents since then. After he got comfortable he started to growl at our cats and would not let them around him or his space ( we’ve had him for the past 7 years and he still does that). He got along well with our other dog Ruby and became very close to her. He always watched over her. When we lost Ruby he got very sad. Things have not been the same. He no longer interacts and doesn’t even want to go on walks. He seems lonely. We do have a toddler but he does not interact or go around her. Mason needs a new home he needs someone who can care for him and his special needs.

Story
I adopted Cowboy from the Lancaster animal shelter! Cowboy is about 3 years old, and is a great dog with so many amazing qualities, but Cowboy is not cat friendly and we have a 7 year old cat we have had since a kitten. Cowboy also suffers from separation anxiety (which he takes medicine for) and would do best in a home with someone who works remote or a big family where a family member is home often otherwise you will need to find a good daycare for him! Cowboys demeanor is very sweet and silly and he loves to cuddle on the couch and get belly rubs. Cowboy loves to play with his squeaky balls and is a great running partner. Cowboy is particularly fond of men and always seeks their attentions and cuddles. Cowboy knows sit, lay down, and leave it... he has not been able to figure out shake yet lol. If you are looking to constantly get stopped on the street due to his beauty and unconditional cuddles and love he is the perfect dog for you.

Story
Originally, Peter was adopted by my grandmother to deter intruders from her yard. However, his kind nature attracted the neighborhood instead. He is very social and hyper, he requires a lot of stimulus or else he’s sort of mischievous. Peter LOVES long walks and play time. He is also VERY curious and smart. The first 3 years of his life he was a pure outdoor dog but the past 2 was inside in an apartment. He is house trained, each time there was an accident it was my fault. He gets along with other dogs but is a bit territorial once it comes to his cage. A food motivated guy who knows a few commands such as sit, lay down, paw, and stay. Once you set a boundary on where he’s not allowed he’s very good with that! Peter is also a Velcro dog, so he will always want to be near you. If you’re a active person that wants a dog for pets, play time, and

Story
Meet Tigger – the bravest little lovebug you’ll ever meet! 🧡 Tigger is a 13lb, 7-month-old pup with a heart as big as his ears and a story that will tug at yours. He was found after being abandoned and hit by a car, but don’t let that fool you—this little guy is pure sunshine wrapped in fluff. Despite everything he’s been through, Tigger is goofy, affectionate, and always ready to snuggle up and love hard. He’s currently recovering like a champ! While one of his front legs is paralyzed from the accident, Tigger doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’s learning to zoom around with the same determination and joy he brings to everything else in life. Tigger would thrive in a home where he’ll be showered with love, attention, and a bit of extra care as he continues to adjust. He’s shown some separation anxiety (understandable, given his past), but he’s already improving so much—and we truly believe with patience and continued support, he’ll grow into the most loyal, loving companion.
