Story

Roxy is an amazing doggie. She is shy around new people, but eventually warms up to you with a few treats. She loves going on walks, and loves your attention. She is playful and enjoys playing fetch. I originally adopted Roxy from SEACCA and saved her from being uthenized. She does very well vet visits and has had personal training. She is scheduled to be spayed next month.

Story

Brutus is a sweetheart who loves to play fetch, get his belly rubbed, take walks, and so much more. He's generally good with other dogs. I only checked the "Not good with dogs" box because he got into a scrap with another dog once over food. It breaks my heart to have to give him up, but hopefully he will find a good home here. I'll take him anyewhere between San Diego and Los Angeles and provide all the basics to get started....collar, leash, a big bag of food, bowls, etc.

Max was a street rescue at 4 months old and is now four years old. Max is a very loving dog and likes to run and chase butterflies. She is strong and happy. She is partially trained and will accept additional training. She does not get along with her sister and they have issues between them. I am too old and lack the energy to care for her and her sister and it is painful to loose her. I want her to have a good home with someone who has the energy she needs. She is a great watch dog and loves tug of war.

Wilson is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. He’s 85 pounds but thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to cuddle. He’s perfectly fine going to the dog park all day or laying in bed relaxing. He is bonded with Penelope so they must be taken together. Looking for the right home for at least 6 months, or permanently if my health does not improve.

Story

He’s a very sweet boy that just wants to find his person /family. His owner passed away sadly and the owners sister took him in but he unfortunately got out and they didn’t want him back. An acquaintance found him in the streets and we went to pick him up and take him in- but unfortunately we already have two dogs and can’t seem him to give him the attention that he needs. He is 2 years old and since he is not neutered and has some separation anxiety, we feel he needs to be in a home without other dogs so he can get all the love and attention possible. Especially after knowing he has been through abandonment trauma. He acclimated to us pretty quickly and is a big snuggler, as well as loves car rides. He is great on walks and in social settings, he is very calm. We hope to find his next forever home!

Story

I adopted Ford 6 years ago in Boston, and the two of us came out to California several years ago. He is a very sweet boy, not too energetic, really enjoys going on walks where he can sniff and pee on bushes, otherwise he's happy to lay on the couch. He is a little slow to warm up when it comes to people and other dogs, and he does get nervous around strangers if they're around the house, but once he gets to know them he can be so sweet and gentle (as you can see in the picture including his housemate Stormy). Unfortunately my life has gotten busy with my work and other personal responsibilities, and it's not fair to the people I live with to expect them to provide 95-100% of the necessary care. If I had it my way, his new home would simply have people who are willing to care for him, take him on walks and show him love and affection, and have a nice calm home for him to relax in and enjoy.

She gets along well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and sleeps comfortably in her crate. One of her favorite things is watching the world go by from the car window. She also shares her bed politely and enjoys peaceful companionship. Dolly can be a bit timid when she first meets new people, but with gentle affection and a few hugs, she quickly begins to trust. Once she feels safe, her soft, loving personality shines through and she becomes a happy, calm, and very affectionate companion. Dolly was rescued after being found abandoned on the side of the road with another dog. They had been left without shelter, surviving cold rain and freezing temperatures. Thankfully, a kind person noticed them and asked for help. Dolly was rescued easily and without resistance, as if she knew she was finally safe. NES: –Chiweenie mix / Spayed Female / 3 years old / 18 lbs INES is a friendly, gentle, and well-mannered girl who gets along well with other dogs. She enjoys going for walks in the park and riding in the car. Ines is calm and obedient, rarely barks, and is not destructive. She sleeps comfortably in a crate, is not anxious, and enjoys playing with toys. She also loves being around people and spending time with her family. Ines was found near a mountain with her two puppies. They were in very poor condition, suffering from mange that left their skin bleeding, and they were extremely malnourished, hungry, and thirsty. Despite everything they had been through, they still wagged their tails at every person they saw, hoping for help. Sadly, most people ignored them. Fortunately, a kind rescuer found them and took them home, then brought them to a veterinarian so they could receive treatment and recovers their health.
