Cashew is a sweet, energetic 8-year-old dog who still has the playful spirit of a 3-year-old. He loves going for walks but sometimes pulls on the leash. He loves so sit on your lap, even though he is not quite a lap dog. He is gentle and good with kids—my granddaughter lived with us starting from the age of 1 until 5, and throughout that time, he never showed any aggression toward her. If she bothered him, he would simply move away. If we weren't moving to a different country, he would not be on this site :( I just want him to go to a loving family.

A Puerto Rican Sato with soulful eyes and endless resilience, he became part of our family alongside his littermate brother, Móle.Malta is a 7-year-old, 40-lb medium-sized Sato: athletic, affectionate, playful, crate- and e-collar-trained, chipped, vaccinated, and great with other dogs. He loves beach runs, trails, daycare playtime, and curling up close with his people.Since the arrival of our baby, Malta has struggled to fully settle into the changes that come with a busier home. We’ve realized he would thrive best in a calm, experienced, child-free environment where he can feel secure.He does have anxiety around unfamiliar people and needs patient introductions, but he bonds deeply with his humans.We’re in Long Beach, CA, hoping to find him a loving Southern California home. Meet Pancake ❤️ Pancake is a 4-year-old mixed breed (turning 5 this December) looking for her forever home. She was rescued in Mexico after being hit by a car. After being adopted, she was rehomed because another dog in the home was reactive. I adopted her when she was 2, and she’s been my best friend ever since. Pancake is incredibly sweet with people, loves giving kisses, and is calm around the house. Shes like a cat, happy to relax and keep you company. She’s fully potty trained, knows her commands, does well when left home alone, and has had extensive training. She’d do best as the only pet in a home with a secure backyard. She pulls on walks, is scared of cars and fireworks, and takes a low-dose anxiety medication. Rehoming her is the hardest decision I’ve ever made. My move to Los Angeles and demanding schedule mean she deserves more space, time, and love than I can give her.

She has a soft spot for treats and chew bones, and while she appreciates a comfy dog bed, she'd much rather snuggle up on the couch or bed! Unfortunately, Brownie is also an escape artist, and without a secure yard, she's been getting into trouble. 🩷 Rescue Story Louis was rescued from the euthanasia list at "Jeongeup Shelter" in South Korea. After receiving proper medical care, including completion of heartworm treatment, he was moved into a foster home where he has been able to relax, feel safe, and show his gentle, affectionate nature. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Louis is a sensitive and sweet dog who prefers calm environments. He does not enjoy overly energetic dogs, regardless of size. He may do well with another low-energy dog who shows little interest in him, but he is also well-suited to being the only dog in the home. With people, sudden movements—such as hands raised quickly or abrupt approaches—can be frightening for him, and this is currently being worked on through training. However, when his name is called or someone sits calmly and invites him over, Louis approaches on his own, happily cuddles up, and showers them with affection. He has no history of biting or barking at people and genuinely likes human company. His compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Louis truly loves going on walks. He may start out slightly excited at the beginning, but as the walk continues, he settles down and walks nicely while matching his handler’s pace. He handles stairs well and, while traffic noises can make him a bit nervous, he does not panic or try to flee. He enjoys sniffing during walks and does not scavenge or pick up food from the ground. His shedding level is moderate, about 5 out of 10. He has no food allergies and eats well without being picky. 🏡 Habits & Training Louis uses indoor pee pads reliably (100%) and also goes potty outdoors about 85% of the time. He accepts baths and brushing calmly without resistance. He does not have separation anxiety and is comfortable staying alone. He is generally quiet and does not bark, though he may softly whine for a short moment when he is extremely excited or waiting for meals. He rides well in the car and does not appear to experience motion sickness. 💛 Likes & Personality Louis is not particularly interested in toys. Rather than high-energy play, he prefers resting quietly on his own or staying close to his person. He finds comfort in human presence and enjoys peaceful companionship. He is currently living in a foster home.
