Story
She is a wonderful dog. She is timid and kind. My daughter is experiencing an ongoing mental health crisis that has scared Piper. Piper now tries to escape and leave the home. We do not feel it is safe for her to stay here, although not in direct danger, she is so stressed she continues to escape. It breaks our heart.

Story
Baker was adopted from Multnomah County Animal Shelter in Spring of 22, & I have had him in my care since. He is about 5yo. I am rehoming him because as his sole caretaker I cannot keep up with the financial obligations.Baker is a sweet & goofy dog, with a lot of personality. He loves other dogs, people & children. He likes to cuddle & sleeps in my bed, but he was crate trained as a puppy so I am sure he would readjust to that fine. I let him free roam while I am at work & he is house trained & not destructive at all. He is smart & knows lots of fun tricks. I wouldn't consider him a high energy dog, when we aren't walking, he is a couch potato. He is a great dog and I really hope I can find him a good homeHe has a high prey drive & likes to chase squirrels & fast-moving objects like skateboards, so he needs a strong owner (I wouldn't recommend him to a home with cats). Overall, he is a biddable & food motivated dog, & I think the right person could work with him on his impulse control.

Story
Penny is a great companion and I have had her for 6 years she is my Covid baby!! She is very loved and I am very sad and dreading having to rehome her but I recently got married and he is very allergic to her and I just had a baby and with my busy schedule it is best I find a home where Penny can be with someone who can give her full time attention and hopefully a nice yard. She would prefer to be with small dogs but can handle big dogs once she gets used to them. She loves being inside but will be outside if she needs to. She does have anxiety and hates fireworks. I love Penny very much and hope to find her a great home where she will be loved and cared for.

Story
Our sweet boy is 10 years old, he’s a good dog but we have a one year old and we’re struggling to navigate life with both of them, especially as he ages. He is potty trained, but struggles when it rains and snows and needs help. I think he would do fine in a house or apartment. He’s getting older and he’s struggling on our hard wood floor as well. He’s loving but not a huge snuggler and not a great walker. He gets alot of exercise playing with our other dog and chasing the cat around. He’s always lived with another dog and cat and does fine but both he’s known since birth. I don’t think he would do well in a home that has previously had a male dog, I would be worried about him trying to mark.Would not recommend him around children. He may be fine, but he seems to get anxious around them. He’s never bit anyone and has a bubble, he likes his space.
