Story
Zoe was brought home by my daughter in 2021. I believe she is a lab mix. She is house trained and well behaved. She does have a tendency to be very vocal when outside. Zoe enjoys walks and interactive time. There have been some recent changes to our income and schedules, so we are looking for someone that can provide her with the attention she deserves.

Story
Orla was found outside of a Target and brought to the shelter. She was determined to be 7 months. They spayed her during her short, week-long stay. She was adopted by myself the day after she was spayed. Since then, she has been a joy to have around. In watching her grow these last three months, her personality has come to shine: she is smart, medium level energy, highly food motivated, highly adaptable, loves other dogs, does great in a variety of environments, and has a kind temperament. Upon adoption, you'll receive her 20+ toys, water bowl & mat, all of her treats ($100+), her shampoos, crate, and whatever food is left. You would not need to buy anything new for her except maybe her food! She has been described to me by others who have met her as sweet, kind, and easy. She has had an overnight stay at a Rover house and did excellent. She came to me house-trained and with manners. She truly is such an easy dog!

Story
Re and Ra are siblings. I got them at 4 weeks old when their mom stopped nursing them. They were bottle fed for a few weeks. They are super affectionate and love to cuddle. They like to sleep under blankets. I have kids and 2 cats and they do well with both kids and cats. I did get them a week before Covid hit so they did not have a chance to socialize like they needed so they need a little extra time to get them to be social. They are house trained and kennel trained. They have to be adopted together no exceptions.

Story
I adopted Bailey about 4 years ago. She has always shown a little aggression towards strangers. She is very loyal and loving. She and my 5 year old son get a long great. She gets along great with with my other older dog except when there are bones or new toys involved. She is food aggressive, not against people but definitely against other animals. She used to be fine with my older cat but recently she has started attacking my cat. Not sure what changed. I feel like she would be better in a house with no other pets and just people. She loves people once she trusts you. She is very sweet and loyal. I hate to rehome her but I don’t feel like I have a choice, my cat has been with me for 16 years and it’s not fair to him. I want her to go to a loving home.

Story
We adopted sweet Alfie from a reputatable animal rescue called Halfway Home in Costa Rica. He was 6 weeks old when we adopted him. We moved him back to the US and hoped he would be our family dog for a long time. However, we have three young kids and while he is fine with them, he seems like a dog that would do better with a family without children. He can be a bit skittish and protective of his bones and toys. With enough exercise and training these behaviors can absolutely be managed but we just can’t commit to that with three young kids. He is super sweet, loving, cuddly, active, playful and great at fetch. We love him so much and hope he can find an owner who can give him the focus and training he deserves.

Story
Bear will be turning 6 yrs on Jan. 26th, I want to preface bear has anxiety around men, but he can warm up with treats, Ive had him since he was 8 weeks old and it hurts to get to a position for rehoming him, but due to our housing issues & having a kid & with my and my partner working over 30-40 hrs a week, its been hard balancing the life with a kid and a dog that we weren’t prepared for. For the last 3 yrs we ran into no longer having a welcoming home for him and we have been trying to make it work but unfortunately things haven’t been going well & we decided it was time to find him a new home. I have been his only owner for his entire life, so please text me or email me any questions you may have & I can go more into detail about him, and I would like at least 1 or 2 references they could be friends or family or partners, nothing professional but it would help me feel comfortable knowing bear would be going to a home that people can advocate for!
