Story
Spud is the absolute sweetest dog ever. He’s a complete couch potato. He’s a lover he always wants to be with you. We are currently blending families and we cannot keep him due to allergies in the house. Would love to find him his forever home, even though it will be heartbreaking to let him go.

Story
I adopted Dobby from a rescue when she was 1.5 years old. I have to put her up for adoption now because she gets very jealous of my smaller dog that I got as a puppy 2 years ago and can become aggressive towards her. Dobby does fine with cats and big dogs. She generally does fine with dogs around her size, but not within the same home. She’s a sweet heart and is low energy. She just likes to be nearby and typically sleeps. She does have a sound aversion to loud noises such as loud cars, fireworks, thunder. She typically just does the bathroom outside quickly and will want to come back in the house. She’s very affectionate and just needs someone that has some experience with insecure dogs, but otherwise is a very easy dog to take care of.

Story
Apollo showed up on our front doorstep 4 years ago emaciated and wearing a collar. After we had no luck finding the owner, we decided he had captured our hearts, and he's been a part of our family ever since.Unfortunately, we currently have 6 pets living in our apartment and it is unsustainable, so we have made the difficult decision to try to rehome Apollo.Apollo loves people, and gets along great with all of our pets (cats and dogs). He's an incredibly affectionate and cuddly dog. He wants to be inside your skin and will always be at your side if he's able!He has separation anxiety due to us working from home, so he may bark if left home alone. He is house and leash trained. While he prefers to be in bed with you–he is kennel trained as well.Everyone who has met this goofy dog has fallen in love, and we know you will too!

Story
❤️ Derek — Gentle, Sweet 10‑Week‑Old Hound Mix Puppy Rescued by Castoff Pet Rescue Derek’s story begins in a heartbreaking place. He and his siblings were rescued from a horrible home by Castoff Pet Rescue, and despite such a rough start, Derek has blossomed into one of the gentlest, sweetest little souls you could ever meet. At 10 weeks old and only about 5 pounds, Derek is the runt of the litter, but his personality is anything but small. He is calm, affectionate, and happiest when he’s curled up in your arms. His foster family describes him as a “soft, snuggly, easygoing sweetheart” who brings a sense of peace wherever he goes. We believe Derek is a hound mix, and he will likely grow to around 35–40 pounds as an adult. He is thriving in foster care with his siblings and two adult dogs, and he gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids. Derek is gentle, patient, and wonderfully adaptable — the kind of puppy who fits right into a loving home and makes everyone feel lucky to know him. Derek is now ready to find a safe, loving forever home where he can continue to grow, feel secure, and be cherished the way he deserves. 🐾 Derek’s Features & Personality Highlights Super sweet temperament — calm, cuddly, and affectionate Loves being held — happiest snuggled in your arms Gentle nature — soft, patient, and easygoing Great with dogs — lives with siblings + two adult dogs and does wonderfully Great with cats — respectful and calm Great with kids — gentle enough for families Hound mix — likely 35–40 lbs full grown Thriving in foster care — confident, social, and well‑adjusted Rescue survivor — overcame a rough start with a loving heart Looking for a loving home — ready for safety, affection, and stability 💛 Ready to Adopt Derek? If you’re interested in giving Derek the loving home he deserves, please complete an adoption application through Castoff Pet Rescue.

Story
This is extremely difficult for me to do, as I love Bubby very much and I do not want to surrender him. However, I just moved to Georgia from Louisiana, and I have yet to find a housing option that will allow him to live with me due to his “aggressive breed” look. I rescued Bubby in January of 2024 after going through a divorce. He is the sweetest boy and just turned 7 in April. He enjoys sleeping, barking at delivery drivers to protect his mom, sleeping, eating, and cuddling with his mom. He is a lazy boy who just wants to be loved and protect his person. He is great with kids and very gentle. I don’t know how he is with cats, but he is only good with other dogs if he can be the dominate one. He has temporarily lived with two different dogs since I’ve had him, and the initial meet was a bit nerve wracking but they became friends quickly. He is potty trained and does not EVER chew or eat anything in the house. He deserves nothing but love and endless cuddles.
